DeepTech hitting the magazines hard this month with triple gold finds, it's truly great to see folks doing well with our machines and the feedback we constantly get is amazing, keep up the great work folks as it's truly appreciated,

You've been to some nice far out places testing machines Des, always fancied a spot of gold hunting, what's it like ? What are the highs and lows ? Can't see there being much iron to deal with bar the mineralised ground.

Cheers Des, was happy to see this looking back at me.
I would never use such a digging tool on pasture but solid hard plough land it's a breeze at shallow levels, everything just brushes back into the hole and stamped down, no trace left... but only a crazy fool would take onto pasture as yes it would be far to messy indeed.

Had a few hours out yesterday with the Vista Gold Gain and digging in the rock hard ground, was running low levels of Gain but leaning more on high levels of Sensitivity due to digging down 8+ inches in this flint packed ground would be time consuming, but this Charles 1st Half Crown produced a cracking signal even with the dialled back settings from around 6 inches down.
Saw the edge of the c

First off the Treasure Valuation Committee will place a price on its worth as history, if one of a kind or very important for one reason or another then they will place a price upon according to its status, after that it is for museums raise the cash to buy at the price stated.
It' can either work out to be a fair situation or an unfair situation for the finder, many people have been unhapp

DeepTech Vista Gold Gain
“Hi guys ‘n’ girls. Today was that day...a good friend and I eagerly walked out onto our new permission! The first signal was coke, but I thought dig ‘em all and get a feel for the site. Within half an hour, the most beautiful, gold medieval iconographical finger ring lay at the bottom of a 7-8 inch deep hole. Centuries old, but looks like it’s never been

Calabash..... it's getting seriously hard work over here also, when the soil turns to concrete and makes a 5 minute dig into a 30 minute recovery in some cases, finds rate reallly can drop..... bring on spring and autumn

Arkansas....... I would rather only use manual GB, I did a video showing the outcome of keeping the GB at preset and altering to be in sync with the ground, also followed a friend with a very popular beginner machine and saw what can be missed if ground is heavy on minerals, you will miss deep targets for sure and it will alter target audio if you not running the GB true for general searching.

Of course Calabash, altering GB can effect many things, weakened audio on good deep targets can be seen as iron even without altering the GB on many a machine, but having the GB correct can help with this so would it be worth going on such on a field that has many iron targets ?.... no unless you like digging a lot.
But on a clean field altering the BG in favour for finding deep targets you ca

Thank you Arkansas and welcone.
Your sure right about altering then the GB to grab deeper targets, it's just getting the balance right and understanding the outcome of doing so, as I think Keith southern calls it, power balancing, you can get away with it more in shallow iron searching to help the iron from high spiking as the soil is not being registered so to say unless highly mineralis

Indeed and that's what I thought, very muched enjoyed his video here, his words about park hunting and so on is spot on and the depth test was impressive from both machines, I just thought I would show in a video with some manipulation of the GB how you can winkle out finds in shallow iron, a lot of this here has come from around the iron in the last 6 months but only a few times I've h

Indeed and good to hear Welgund, I only use the GB to help like this in really busy iron areas, I generally run disc at 9pm but tell folks to set on the dot when familiarising their self with the VGG or any other Vista machine.
Many soils I've been on balance around the 9am naturally also and some maxed out at 7am.... it's just when your balancing around The 2Pm Mark and hit huge amo

Hello all.
Video below words....
Nice Video Calabash and done without bad intentions what is good to see these days, I truly didn't see you fudging settings to make one machine more favourable over.
Thought would do a video in response to your video, it's not response of my machine is better than yours as in all fairness I think you did a good honest video there, park hunting

Yeah, for me it seems a more focused coil that I can virtually run the machine flat out with and grab the smallest of targets, maxed out gain and sensitivity and a coil that is feeding less ground feedback to your ears really catches the shards of metal well, does for me thats for sure, so stable and can even run boost if need be, lacks the punch of the pitball but makes up in the swing feell an

Hello all, not signed in for a while as I've been too busy putting the hours in the field with the VGG since back late last year with amazing results, all I would like to say is when you get the VGG Calabash Digger put many (MANY) hours in the field hard hunting and you will see the full potential that the VGG can offer, throwing coins in a pre dug hole or placing coins on a board with nails

DeepTech Vista Gold Gain and HP Elliptical Coil equals an amazing combination.
Yesterday was a brilliant day in many ways, not only was the sun shining but the machine showed me its true measure of performance.
The HP Elliptical Coil is not like its big brother the 11" Pitbull, but more of a precision tool for the VGG.
For starters it's the way if feels when swinging across the r

So then I've been using the SuperSix attached to the VGG for a good few outings now, it's truly a great coil and as Keith said it would be a nice option to have the SuperSix in as a package with the VGG... if not I highly recommend it for a good few reasons.
Not just for its great all round performance but also how it's changes the VGG in feel, same with the rest of the DeepTech

The audio tends to be a little erratic whilst sweeping back and forth over suspected coke, never straight and clean like a good medium to shallow target, don't forget the Vista Sprite deals with coke well with its coke check button,
