I hit 4 other detecting forums and it appears to me that posting traffic is quite a bit down on them, too. This one seems to be the quieter of the trough, though. HH jim tn

First off I am not a Garrett fan boy as I have only had two of their models since starting with this hobby back in the early 70's, but I think Garrett will be o k going forward.
Garrett, likt F T with its night optics division, has a strong security device division and least we forget, continues to sell large numbers of their Ace entry level detectors, much like F T and its Bounty Hunter

If Kenny White didn't reach out to every notable detector co., then he was a pretty remiss business owner, imho.
Garrett seemingly saw something that they thought they could use. Other co.'s, apparently not so much, if anything.
I think I was wrong one other time, not sure anymore, but I seriously doubt First Texas has been setting idly by on "the development of new product&

I know better, but, haven't had enough coffee yet, ....... glad to see our Tn detecting mavin is back at it and keeping some of us so well informed with his profound opinions.
I know it might be hard for you to comprehend, tss, but some of us in the detector world just might be happy and content with the detector(s) we are using. I know, hard to fathom, but its true. Now you have a great

I have a A T Pro and from what I saw in the video, until I learn other wise, I see no advantage with the Apex. To my ears, the A T Pro still has some of the best audio going in Pro Zero, and in its price range, still a pretty darn good unmasker. My F 75 always has been my main swing, but the A T Pro still sees a fair amount of action. My 2 cents, anyway. Oh, and I feel Calabash did a nice job in

Yeah, almost every water post I see has sun glasses shown. And, ss is showing up occasionally on land hunts now as well. I like old silver anything, but some of the new silver jewelry designs are pretty unique and neat. Good luck! HH jim tn

If one is a land hunter, seemingly varying sizes of coils come into play. I hunt mainly for old coins and I don't find old coins always beyond the depth of a small coil. In fact, most of my better and older coin finds are in the 1st 7"-8" of dirt.
Oh, I know, I don't know what I am missing if I don't know it there, but the same can be said for large coils. In heavy tr

I'm not defending the Apex, but I never thought or read it was intended to compete with the likes of the Nox, Deus and a number of other higher end detectors. If it was even close to the E800 in performance, it would be a hell of a deal. My 2 cents, and now I only have 2 others left. HH jim tn

j.t., can't you see that additional billions are needed to improve USPS service? I mean, they are only loosing billions annually now...and have been for years. HH jim tn

cjc fills a need for some and creates a opportunity for himself, with his books. Good for him, its the American way. There are others on here that could d it, too. HH jim tn

Actually, just how viable is the USPS today? Ii operates heavily in the red, service is lousy and the few pieces of actual mail most of us get monthly could be sent on line.
Oh, I know, for some it is necessary, but if USPS was a private enterprise it would have shut down long ago and those that found it a necessary means of receiving their mail would have had to look elsewhere for other mean
