Hi Dilek,
I have owned the Multi Kruzer, the Anfibio and the Simplex+WHP. As far as how well all of the detectors performed, they were great. My favorite was the Multi Kruzer, by far. However, I was greatly hampered by the detectors (all three) being too nose heavy. At 71 years old, I just could not use any of rhe detectors for more than around an hour before I had to stop detecting because I t

I recently won a Nokta Pointer t a seeded hunt. I run a Deus with an MI-6 but thought the Nokta Pointer would do well partnered with my loaner/backup which is a Teknetics Minuteman. I set up the Nokta Pointer as per the user manual, to max depth but am only getting a depth of 7/8". This does not seem that it is getting the depths it should get. I need some input from you guys that are using

I am so happy with my XP Deus. Actually I have 2 of them. However, I would like to see a slightly larger TID display, A volume control(even though I use the WS-4 headphones), a waterproof housing and maybe multi frequency. I do not believe there is such thing as a perfect detector, but The Deus is almost, at least for this 71 year old guy that can no longer hear or see well.. At least the weight

Those bottles are just laying on the bottom. I was wondering if the river ever floods? They sure do in Texas and when they do, they take everything clear down to bedrock. Then the rivers that are just mud on the bottom silt up. You are indeed lucky to have such a great area to detect in and scuba for artifacts. Very nice!

I am mainly a coin hunter in trashy, newer parks. When I get a loud signal, I wiggle the coil over the target while raising the coil. A can, or piece of junk the size of that can lid will give a very loud signal 5 or more inches above the target while a coin will drop off sharply. I do the same with questionable quarter hits that could be crown caps and will get an iron grunt on them but not on a

I am mainly a coin hunter. Some say the Deus is not a good coin hunter. I disagree. It does take a lot of time and patience to learn the language of the Deus. On the flat iron and bottlecaps, I use my method that I learned and it works good for me, especially on my trashy parks that are loaded with crown caps. I use three tones and set my tone breaks that give a low tone on iron, a medium tone on

I ran an F75 for 6 years. I went through several kinds of headphones, Gray Ghosts, Killer Bees and more. They worked good, but I hated being tethered to my detector. The cord was always getting in the way. What I ended up with was, at least for me the best combination and best sounding I had ever used. I got me the Z-Lynk WT-1 and WR-1 with the Z-Lynk Pro Pointer. For headphones, I used the XP De

A new update was issued yesterday (04/21/2020) to fix the low volume on wired headphones and add a mute button for those having problems with cross talk from pinpointers. Sure is good to see a company wark fast to correct problems. This update works great.
Software Update (2020.04.21) : System Software V2.77

I am amazed at what all that Nokta Makro has done with this update. With the release of the Simplex+ they made an entry level detector that performs above the rest and with this update, made it soar above all the rest!

My answer would be the machine YOU learn the best, in the kind of ground YOU hunt and for the types of targets that YOU hunt for and the settings YOU use on the detector. The biggest factor for getting depth is not necessarily the detector, but it is YOU. Get a detector made for the way YOU hunt and learn that detector. YOU can not learn any detector if it is left in the closet.

Dilek is still keeping up with us. At least on the FB groups. She made a post yesterday on some of the active FB groups and addressed some of the comments that were made about the TID numbers. I imagine that she makes the rounds to the active forums as well. So far, I am quite satisfied with my Simplex+. I can't ever use it as my son has taken it over. But, that is OK. I still have my Deus.

One thing that bothers me is I keep hearing people say that Trump cut funding to the CDC. Well, here is the truth:
What's True
The Trump administration's proposed 2021 budget includes cuts to the CDC's activities related to chronic disease.
What's False
Congress hasn't approved the budget, so CDC funding in 2021 remains unclear.

It has been over 15 years since I have flown on commercial aircraft. I will be flying from South Texas to Seattle, WA. in June and will have a layover in Dallas. I want to take my Deus if possible. I will have carry on only. I will not check my luggage. I have no idea of what the rules/laws for metal detectors on planes are and certainly have no idea about the non-removable batteries in the detec

I have owned and used all the Garrett pinpointers, and just about all other brands of pinpointers, including the Garrett Pro Pointer II, Garrett Propointer AT, Garrett Propointer Z-Lynk,Whites Bullseye TRX, Nokta MAkro PulseDive, Vibra Probe, Bounty Hunter Pinpointer, Pistol Probe, Tint Deluxe and a few others . The very best, by far, of all of them is the XP MI-6. Yes, it is made to pair with th

I am from Deep South Texas but in June of 2020 I will be traveling to Marysville, Washington and staying for 2 weeks. I will be staying with a friend that does not detect. I will ship my detector and accessories to him before I leave. I have no ideas what the laws are in Washington or in Marysville. I am 70 and will not be able to do any long hikes or over rough terrain. I would like to do some s

I doubt that coils for their other detectors will work on the Simplex+. Dilek has mentioned that Nokta Makro will be producing more coils for the Simplex+ shortly, so that to me is an indication that no other coils will work. There is a chance they may work, but probably with much reduced results in performance.
