I have done well with my Goldstrike and would not part with it. The ability to find gold under hot rocks is a huge asset. Dimitar did great designing both the Coinstrike and Goldstrike.

The Goldstrike does have two tone ID... Low and high. You can also knock out hot rocks which is a plus. Very very good machine designed by Dimitar Gargov. And at 30khz a real sleeper of a gold machine.

It says 11,000 sq feet total on 2 floors. But overall its not as big as one would think. On Prescott GIS the tax value of the building and land is $597,000 and they are asking $1.4 million. Going to keep an eye out and see if they end up auctioning off the detectors and other items they have inside.

Went by there yesterday as I only live about 5 miles from there and everything is still in the building. Looked in the back door and there were several detectors propped up against a wall with some of them being 80s models as I could tell by the case.

One of the very best detectors at id'ing and separating copper pennies and dimes is the old Teknetics Mark 1, and it also has a different tone for zinc, copper penny and dime.

The Equinox is still a new machine and as such it has the curiosity of many especially since its from Minelab. However it will not obsolete single frequency machines as there will be certain machines that might do better in certain areas or sites than the Equinox. The Equinox is the first machine to have selectable multiple frequencies which is a big plus and a wonderful option. Minelab has the m

Im sure the Equinox will be a great machine and after some time the regular and even older vlf machines will still be used alongside it. A step forward in detectors i would say yes, but there will be times in parks or other areas where one will still need their Tesoro or CZ or any other machine. I will say Minelab has the money to get the hype and to produce a wonderful and powerful detector but

Hey Guys,
This beautiful courthouse is located in Sherwood Texas which is now mainly deserted but has a handful of folks living there. This is about 25 miles from where we now live and I have detected here before and did well. Now that we live her I hope to speak to some of the folks who own the lots and land there and detect in the empty lots because when Sherwood was booming it had ever

Didnt have time that I wanted before we left to make a video but im hoping that some time this weekend I can get some time to do a short video of the CZ6A... This being the first CZ I have owned I was very impressed with the build quality and being an analog dual frequency machine very complex. Davey boy

So i kissed my wife on the neck and gently rubbed her arm and she took our cat and put her on the covers beside me and said there you go... pet her and she rolled back over and went to sleep... Damn man

Harold there are 2 small screws in the back of the housing that screw into the metal coil connector bracket on the inside on mine and thats what holds it in. Sometimes they need a little NUDGE when first removing but the faceplate will pull forward removing the circuit board when the 2 screws are removed...

Hi Guvmore,
There is a separate small battery pack for the lights. Wanted to make sure the CZ circuitry was powered by the (2) 9 volts as intended and nothing else attached.

Pimento I normally do use stranded wire however that is in the stack of boxes for our Texas move. This was kind of a spur of the moment decision to do and all I had on hand was a roll of 24 gauge. And on the grocery list my wife has resorted to sending me a text with everything needed. I can work with that. Cal Cobra after we get moved I will be looking to get another CZ and adding not only the v
