Yes I remember my first great finds also and don't remember what had for lunch , except probably not that great trying to remove salt from diet................but lately have not hunted much.
The NOX hype is still up in the air at this time, a good detector well lot of good detectors out there.

No doubt dig everything is one method since trash and treasure are basically the same to a detector....but this is a hobby of enjoyment.

I ordered a detector from Alberta to BC, it was just left at front door(paid 1200) yup will get signiture.
Not stolen but just wrong to leave it outside in view of anyone without even a door knock, happens often even with government mail workers.

For those following the Nox is it ahead of the crowd? detector wise or just a fast starter out of the gate and a long way before the finish line.

Sounds like an opportuity for a niche repair market for some smart techician? I agree detectors are super reliable but still like one that could be repaired.
Not sure if a deal breaker have to check the warranty time.

It is just a detector a "tool" to help us find stuff. Are people expecting a magic wand with this model.....common sense says they will be let down. Lightweight/waterproof hardly is a game changer nice but not a game changer.but I hope it is a great tool.
Last time read a pulltab/gold ring are on the same conductive range numbers,To some degree all detectors are beep and dig by nat

I have limited hunt sites modern city...guess would be simple old coins and the history and times they circulated.....way before we had so many great inventions.
Sure like gold and the usual rift raft finds...the hobby is such a challenge if was easy everyone would do it. hh

My limited hunt sites have dryed out, used snipers to very large coils and about 5 models. The Nox may be a better choice now but will wait for reviews to trickle in.
Any detector will work on good locations but you need a step up detector when the sites dry out, have a lot of hope on the Nox.

I relize it's a rare coin, but a copper coin toasted does not seem to be that attractive to me at any price..not doing any research yet seems could be a few variety types if the public in 1793 or so faulted
the design of Liberty and chain design..very interesting coin for sure.
