They say anything about the screen setup?? I absolutely hate the screen layout. Its to busy. They didn't even take advantage of using all the space they could of looks like from my remote. Lots of unused pixels on the sides. Looks like they could've made everything about 1/8" larger. Im prob wrong but look like it. Love deus1 setup or ORX main screen setup. Why not add this option

Excellent job on vid Cal. Also for the price your get 5 yrs warranty vs 3. To me is a huge deal, to others maybe not. I'm sure hoping the bottle cap feature can do some good work in my old ghost town busted tin sites. I'd love to see how full tones and max bottle cap does. Have you played around with bottle cap and disc settings? How does disc affect the bottle cap reject feature?

I would like to see an 8" or 9" open round concentric coil if possible or dd. Also an open 5x9.5dd coil. Also a 5" or 6" concentric would be amazing. Heres an idea. How bout make a super light weight 13" coil. Maybe some type of carbon fiber based coil that keeps it super light. Lots of users take real good care of equipment even if it would be a bit fragile. I think peop

Thanks for the info Dan. Ya I watched Gigs video and it got me thinking. When I first got one of the carbon fiber shafts long ago and saw the Eq battery setup, my first thought was HMMMM seems like that could be a weak area. Felt like I should silicone it all up after switching shafts lol. Be interesting to see what feed back everyone else has received from Minelab regarding the issue.

Has minelab said? Just curious if is anything I can do to prevent it? Besides not take it in the water lol. Seems like would be a easy solution but maybe not.

In my old park the square nails are hit and miss. But the equinox 800 will surely find the deep ones no doubt. I think it's a ground balance issue possibly. When it does this it's pretty much impossible to tell a coin from nail. I've tried high iron bias low and zero. Zero works just as good as any. Only thing that works is lowering the sense a bit. Or you can bring your deus with

Doesn't seem like they are listening. For example coils. Lots of of wants and needs but some manufacturers still haven't produced what customers have been asking for.

I've had my 5x10 since first release. It's a deep coil for its size. Signals I noticed bounce a bit more rather then lock on like the minelab coils. No worries cause can still tell with audio. It's a good coil and I would recommend it if ya have a need for one this size. I am mostly a trash hunter and hit up old ghost towns where things become extremely trashy with high mineralizat

drill yourself a tighter hole for the shaft clip to fit in might help. I had a friends that had a wobbly shaft and I looked at closely. Looked like his holes were just slightly to big let it move a bit. Maybe yours is the same. Easy fix.

Just me but I would go with the New Nel SuperFly coil. Its a 11x12 and is available for most machines now. My buddy just got one for his Apex and likes the weight and feel better than the stock coil.

I never run my audio response more than 2 in the busted iron sites. Its just easier to tell good from bad. The deus gives ya all the signs ya need to tell, just need to put in the time with the machine and find the settings that work best for you and the site. When in doubt dig it out! Your gonna dig more trash than you normally would until ya learn the machine. The little 5x9 coil does a bit bet

Great example Cal of the long false tone or as you described as forced audio. Now magnify that 10x and you have with what we deal with out west in the old ghost towns. Old rusted cans that have been discarded and deteriorating for a 100+ yrs or more and blew across the ground like dried leaves in a strong wind. Oh also add squares nails, and all the other type of stuff that might also throw a det

When I first started with the deus I felt the exact same way you are feeling now. Then I pulled a gold coin out of a heavy trash area I had been over with my other machines and forced my self after that to learn the deus. After learning it the hard way without any help from others what I found to be the best way to learn the machine was. 1st find the tone options you like best like 3 tone 4 tone
