But I would have to drill it out to fit on a straight shaft I have. Thanks anyway.

Maybe someone could chime in on that box mounting clip, it might fit the sovereign.
I don't know because never had a Musketeer advantage.

There is a thin film connector, it connects with the mainboard.
Over time the connector can become loose.
Open it up and take your time.
Reinserting that connector can sometimes resolve issues with improper displays, push buttons not responsive etc.

I wish Makro would make a mulit frequency to compete with the Equinox.
However if they sent me a Makro Multi Kruzer to test in the wet sand here in South Korea I would give it a go!
Makro is the best at customer service!

I have only been out with the Sovereign XS-2a Pro a handful of times.
I am mostly beach hunting now.
There is a lot of iron/junk metals from sparklers (They sell these like hotcakes along with every other fireworks you can imagine on the beach).
As most of you know who have used the sovereign it goes quiet when swung over iron/junk metal. I happened to notice it masks coins right next to them.

As the title says I have the box and a coil but need a shaft.
I know I can use it as is but would rather have it mounted on a shaft.
Or any ideas how to make my own mount to fit on a generic shaft?
Thanks!

Makes sense to me.
I have found 100+ year old coins on well worn trails. One was even less than an inch. The ground was hard packed and because of the constant foot traffic no vegetation had a chance to set it.
On the same trail I have found coins 50 + year old one the side of the trail about 4 inches down.

Hello,
How is the depth for a dime and a nickel

I think you will have it covered at 4 inches.
Once I dug a coin and looked in the hole and there was what turned out to be an 18k necklace.
It was in the dry sand and about 4 inches.

So before I return a MINELAB SOVEREIGN XS-2a PRO I bought from Ebay I would like some input.
This unit didn't come with a battery so I put one together using 8 AA batteries.
It powers on but there is just way too much static.
To make matters more challenging I bought a 15inch WOT coil used.
Is the battery set up correct?
