This fellow is happy as a lark about what he is finding with his metal detector. I dare say he’s most likely not a metal detecting you tube or social media fanatic. Refreshing!

Thanks for the response Keith. I have the 5” coil. The Nel 9” sharpshooter, nel tornado and the detech 13” ultimate coils all which I hardly ever use. I strictly relic hunt and as much as I would like to use those coils the stock coil just seems to be way more productive. Being the new 12” coil is made by First Texas, I was hoping it would a big step up from the stock coil.
Thanks again, Bill

Don’t take the go pro. Take the day off, clear you mind, relax and have fun. Remember this is not a job, it’s a hobby.

That’s awesome. Good find. Puts me in mind of that movie “The Deep” with Nick Nolte searching through all those bottles of morphine looking for the gold. I was waiting for a moray eel to grab hold of ya.

Cal, just a thought here. I understand you’re in the restaurant business. If you had a customer come in a few times a week and sit at a table and told every other customer that came in not to eat the food you sold because it taste like crap would you ban him from your restaurant.

How much longer for all the folks still swinging the Nox and Deus to be considered as sucking hind tit. Won’t bother me much, I’m use to it. I’m still swinging the T2. But I got to admit it does get a little lonely at the end of the line

Why not compare detectors that are in the same price range with one another.. I’d dare say a detector that cost 900.00 wood be or should be a better detector than one that cost 500.00. Sin

I’m disappointed in myself. I couldn’t find a reason to disagree or argue with you about this video. I agree with ya. But I do have a question fer ya. From one OLE Timer to ANOTHER. How come you always use a Garrett machine as a guinea pig. I’m sure there’s others out there that would fit the bill.

Cal, I just did an air test to respond to your post. This was on the dining room table with some emi issues. At full sensitivity 0 disc in boost process. It did hit a nickel at 15”, quarter at about 14”, penn
