Like sand saves for pars and dogs that chase cars one day the luck will run out. The way I feel at times in my quest to find the perfect detector for my needs. Is anyone really wrong in their pursuit? No. Has anyone been right?

This may be somewhat relevant . When I tested the Xterra with a similar TID, many good non-ferrous targets to include small pewter colonial buttons reported as a negative TID. I'm sure the hot ground condition contributed to this.

Not to be a " Richard Head " I'm unable to comment any further based upon the fact I do not hunt in your soil. Sending your detector to SE North Carolina, in my opinion will have no bearing on how it will work in your area. The ground in SE NC is good. At least from my experience detecting around Wilmington NC. Several people on this forum live out your way. Rephrase your question
