Sounds like this AU21x mod is behaving like one of
the Tesoro Golden series detectors with adjustable tone break
If you have a piece of foil and a gold ring that IDs or discs
out lower than the foil you can set the tone break where the
higherID piece of foil low tones while the ring tries to cross into
the higher tone. Not sure that it’s density related?? Probably

BS post?????? 5 different threads about a detector that hasn’t even been officially announced on a
forum where the proprietor asks for keeping detectors to a unified thread and my comment is BS????

Used one on my MrBill IDX. Awesome little coil.
Sometimes wish I would’ve kept that setup but then I remember how heavy
the Whites big boxes were and quickly get over the nostalgia!!!

Pretty sure you will have to get “green” anfibio phones for the pinpointer.
It’s bizarre because the green ones will work with Anfib and Kruzer
But the blue ones from the Kruzer won’t work with the Anfib????
Not sure what they are changing but it is kind of frustrating.
Kruzer is great machine but it’s worthless without the headphones
as the speaker volume is so low and tinny sounding.

I remember a podcast interview she did where she mentioned
that all their new machines would share coils and connectors.
I believe she meant the Kruzer connector as it is already
shared with Anfibio.

The Mojave is a big step in versatility from the Compadre.
Really shines at targets close to poles in playgrounds, chainlink fences
in yards and along driveways and sidewalks with iron wire/rebar.
Also with tiny targets like earring backs, chain links and pellets/BBs
Killer for sports fields with the Cleansweep.

Strangely enough a Pantera just went for less than $200 last week.
I was thinking of bidding but I decided I am happy enough with the GS2
that mostly is used hunt

One just sold on fleaBay for $175 plus 15or should for shipping.
Seems hit or miss with older detectors value.
A couple of a certain model will sell for a rather high price
then a few more will come up for sale and flop.

I’m a big fan of the Mojave actually.
Packs easily into a suitcase and is capable
of everything from relic hunting, coin shooting
and even sniffs out sub gram nuggets!
It’s been my go to travel machine since it
was released and has paid for itself numerous
times in the last 2 years.

Takes all kinds of machines.
Even an old BFO or TR detector will turn up goodies that others missed.
After learning on those machines as a kid a silent search Tesoro
was like a Cadillac with power steering and AC. Lol
Now we have newer machines with more bells and whistles but
any thing is still capable of finding goodies.
Just have to spend the time to learn its ins and outs.

Tone and visual ID may be great for stabbing clad in a park
or cherry picking copper/silver from old sites but it offers
zero benefit if you want gold coins or gold jewelry.
I think that’s always been the advantage of an older
Tesoro or White’s detector. They make you dig more targets
that ID would convince you were tabs or foil balls or other trash.
In the end, regardless of what s

Im not waiting!
I just take my Compadre to the park,
dig lots of foil and slaw and find the gold mixed in!
By the time the “magic” detector shows up
the gold will all be gone! LOL
