The thread title - "The hype has started..."
Nokta-Makro have the right to defend themselves and their products from
continual pointless digs from ghound -
This poor chap confuses advertising with 'hype' and continually attempts
to belittle Nokta Makro by spinning some sort of 'hype' train. I can certainly
attest to the fact that Nokta-Makro do not '

do you mean advertising of a product they stated that they are releasing?

on salt water beaches right up until Nokta-Makro released
their range -
would I be correct in thinking that their single frequency
VLF's appear to a rather good at working salt water beaches.
of course not to be compared with SMF, but when compared
to other VLF's, they seem to do quite well without tweaking this,

I hate the design of it -
The way they have the cables coming out of the control box and coil
appears to me that a great lack of thought has gone into the actual
layout of the unit -

As far as I am aware, they have always been upfront about their products being made in China
Quest formerly deteknix of which the very popular and reliable X-Pointer was made
As for buying Chinese made products_not a problem as it is popular amongst the big US
brands to manufacture their products in China and if its good enough for them, I'm sold -
