It's interesting how different opinions can be. Iffy Signals on treasurenet.com says that he almost likes it more than his 600. I guess it all comes to hunting conditions and personal preferences.

It barely matters if it is sequential or concurrent if your motion spectrum lays mostly within freq change frequency nyquist/number of frequencies.

You could apply a bit af a thinking, you know. If battery is easily accessible with common tools an the cell is a standard size Li-ion cell, will authorised service centers be capable of changing it? A mystery of the 21st century.

Oh my god! A person who spends that much time in the internet must be able to Google an instructional video how to apply a silicon grease on two o-rings or find what a 26650 Li-ion cell is. If you really are not capable of doing that than find someone nearby who can.

What guessing? 3mm key used to unmount unit from the shaft and 2mm to undo screw that locks battery hatch. Than just use pliers to pull it out.
If you have trust issue, why you even bother to ask people on forums if you are going to disregard what they say?
Also, why don't you doubt that information about nonservicable battery the same way you doubt my words?

Those people do not even read answers. I clearly stated that was able to access battery just using 2mm and 3mm allen keys. But nooooo, they are keep moaning. They are obviously here to complain, not to find answers.

The thing is that to be a true multifrequency detector it is not even required to receive multiple channels absolutelly simultaneously. It just puts some limitations on width of the spectrum you can pass through the channel. Until you "motion" spectrum is well within the given limitation It is completely fine. It is very similar to processing signals from Bayer matrix in image sensors,

Lots of these speculations caused by the luck of understanding the math which is behind the process. All frequency components of a periodic sequence exist all the time and do not change their magnitude during the period. For example, combine two sinusoids of equal magnitude of, let's say, 10 and 11 kHz. You will immediately notice that there will be sections of the period where they practica

Now, guys, seems like some of you can not (or do not want to) recall what was that about Fourier series in uni. Spend 5 minutes on reading and lots of questions will be answered.
And here is an animated picture how it looks like for etrack-ish waveform

I'm not arguing the fact that someone makes his best to make good metal detectors. Nevertheless saying only that was a cherry picking of a better facts from one side and worse from the other. It is not the way comparison should be made.

Shelton, I'll pretend I don't see the fist part of your msg.
Well, at least you admit that SM didn't choose a good position regarding aka. The rest is to hear it from him.
As for Minelab - I don't care what you say about it, just don't hide facts behind you own back.

So, turns out that hiding awkward facts and pretending they do not exist while accusing others of lying is OK,

Aka employee directly offended the "common detectorist" during online conversation. Company didn't issued any apology, statement or anything else, like it didn't happened. You continuously trying to hide it and forget this issue, calling them "polit

If you have not guessed yet, I have something to say about aka Since you decided to use them as an example of "how md company should behave", it is not an off-topic here.
So, let's reiterate this. Do you think it is acceptable that company representative was repeatedly using an offensive language in online discussion towards other participants? Simple yes or no will suffice.
