It's better in the nails than a lot of the newer detectors out there, it don't false very much on iron plus depending on where you set the disc it sees all the non ferrous stuff, I pull little bits of foil and a lot of those 22 shell casings out of the nails all the time.

When there is a strong competition between 2 great metal detector companies the winners are the people who use the machines, when they keep trying to top each other we get great detectors at reasonable prices. Capitalism at its finest.

I don't use USPS unless I absolutely have to, I use U.P.S., they are cheaper in most cases and they are faster, I have sent packages from here in western PA down to the Carolina's and they get there in 2 to 3 days. You can pay for the shipping cost on their web site and print the labels on your printer and just find out where the drop offs are located in your town, or you can schedule t

I don't think you could go wrong with any of those detectors, I think it just comes down to personal preferences anymore, there isn't an awful lot of performance difference between the new releases. That's my take on it.

I put up a new Legend video on my youtube channel, I found some coins that my other detectors overlooked. The coins weren't that deep, I think they were on edge.

F19 is fun and easy to use, we just had the little yearly county fair in the park close to my house and the day after it was over I took my F19 with a Mars Tiger coil attached to it and vacuumed up all the fresh drops, I only got a little over 3 bucks in change plus a cheapie bracelet and an ear ring but it was a lot of fun because I didn't have to wear headphones or dig any holes. It was a

Yes I agree with Keith, the Patriot is great in the iron and when you get into more open areas it will get awesome depth, and it doesn't suffer from EMI very much in my experience with it. One of my favorites.

I hope it is ready to release without a bunch of glitches and bugs to work out and reprogram. I hope it will be well tested before it is sold to the public.

Have you compared the depth of the 2 coils yet? Also how much difference in recovery speed and separation is there between the 2? I may have missed those video's if you already did them. 6 inch vs 11 inch

WOW Great review, I got one coming to me this week that has been updated to version 1.09, after reading this review I am glad I pulled the trigger. I am mainly a coin hunter in the parks so it sounds like it is right up my alley.

I guess the hot dry days of summer are more conducive to finding older coins, this bares out for me as both walking liberty halves I have found were during the dry spells in the summer in spots that had been gone over many many times. Both were found with minelab explorers by the way.
