It is a very good machine and my wife has been detecting for over 10 years with me and know how to hunt.

I can cover so much more area with F75 and it hasn't missed much. Re hunting areas covered with the F75, has been a waist of time for the most part. Finding some things in the trashy heavy iron areas.

I have found the Equinox to have great TID and good depth on sites with many targets and iron so far. It is not deeper than my main machine that I have used for several years. It ID's better and I will keep it for hunting found sites, but not for finding them in these large farms. It slows me down with beeps that don't repeat and don't seem to like a fast sweep speed. My F75LTD is

Hunted with it today and found some very deep things. Liking it better each time.

I was talking to a person from FT a few years ago and they described several machines they were testing and said they would probably come out that year. Nothing. They even said 2 were water proof. 2 came out that year that matched what he described, but not by FT.

I can say from re hunting some of my best permissions with the NOX and the Multi Kruzer, that the F75LTD don't miss much in sandy land. So far, it is still my first choice to hunt a new site because I can cover more ground faster with it looking for house sites. It's balanced so I can sweep a wide path and it don't false much slowing me down.

I just repeated the test with a rusty nail in place of the tab. Now multi does better than 4khz. The nail doesn't blind the machine as bad as the tab did?

I just did a test with a pull tab and a dime 4 inches apart. In the house on a table because it's still raining in the 30s. In multi in every mode and speed, the pull tab overtakes the dime when I raise the coil a few inches. As long as the tab is under the coil, it drowns the dime. I switched to 4khz and the dime took over and the tab was not sounding off. The opposite. I could only get a t

I have a 9x5 coil for the Kruzer and in 3 tone with sensitivity at 89. It does good in heavy iron. Very fast with decent depth.

I've been running Park 1 and Field 1 the most with iron bias on f2 0 and recovery at 1 and 2. I like 2 the best. I am running all metal with iron volume on 1. Trying to get the most depth out of it because the sites were great and I have hit it with everything I have. Sandy farm with 3 1700s house sites on it. We believe the houses were burned during the civil war because of some civil war

I will have to try the single frequencies. I used field 1 the last time I took it out. F2 at 0 and recovery on 2 in all metal with iron volume on 1. I wanted to run it today, but the weather SUCKS.

I plan to keep using it to see how or if it can help me in the old sites I hunt. In sandy land with less than 1 bar dirt on the F75, it has no advantage over what I already had. If it was the first machine I took there, it probably would have found most or all of what the other machines did. It just didn't make them worth hunting again.
