Correst me if I am wrong but I think he is saying when you lift the coil the aluminum is quickly gone but a gold target sound remains for a greater distance above the target.

They proably just sold out their first (and last) run of the AT Max. Seems like since Charles Garrett died the company ain't the same. I can't imagine they can come up with something that can compete with the XP ORX.

I think they are dying out. Nothing there to read. A few insignificant finds and not much else. I have noticed every so ofter I get several "likes" from out of nowhere. I think they have a crew that goes around and gives away likes.

Tom_in-CA I was not referring to you. I know you hit pretty hard with legitimate questions against some "protected" people, one of whom harrassed me. I complained and the moderators didn't like that and I've been banned several times. I pretty much figured out if you have enough followers you get protection because they want the traffic. Gets me steamed just thinking about it.

I haven't had any trouble since one guy hasn't been posting, but before that it was a constant "in your face" and I complained they banned me. They give sanctuary to some people that don't deserve to be there.

Yeah, it takes new blood to break away from the same old, same old that has plagued the MD industry for the past few decades. The industry is stuck in a rut. I know nothing about this one, don't feel like reading pages and pages. Can someone tell me is this one supposed to be able to see through cast iron, ignore aluminum and lead, and still hit gold? That's what I am working on--The Co

Looks like Minelab is trying to duplicate Garrett's phenomenal success with their AT Pro series. This Vanquish looks like a beginner machine for the masses. VW bug of metal detectors.
As for XP, i heard something is the works, but they aren't saying much. Can't blame them for not wanting to make the mistakes other's recently made. The price of coils dropped and that's

Sorry for interrupting your "Skeptic Power" support group. LOL Honestly, the negativity is detrimental to your health. Yeah, I know, it's an addiction and i don't want to be feeding the trolls, enabling. ANd you know what the gold hunters say, "Nobody finds gold with a negative attitude."

The human mind is the filter system with unbelievable sensitivity to things like voltage polarity and current. As they say, the mind makes sense of the senses. The same process of seeing different colors is a bit complicated to explain.
As for the rod response, I tend to think of it as on the subconscious level, just below the threshold of awareness. With practice many people can access it. It

LOL Oops!!! I meant to type I'm NOT here to argue." I used to think I was helping people to see the light, but after so many years I came to realize it doesn't even matter if you show someone. Once they get hardened there is nothing that will convince them otherwise. It's laughable because like i said, the geophysical surveys use similar, but more sophisticated equipment.

No question there are fraud devices out there and many, many people who claim to be able to dowse who are just deceiving themselves. I'd say a great majority think they can dowse because they got lucky one time. Map dowsing is even worse. It's a psychic thing and just by it's nature it is unreliable and inaccurate. You'd think they'd get lucky once in a while, but all you
