Well I've decided to sell my Tarsacci. Its a great detector but because of the virus I haven't been working and may not any time soon, so one of my detectors has to go. I'm too used to the Equinox to let it go. If I was hunting more at the beach I would keep the Tarsacci and sell the Nox. I called Dimitar and told him it has nothing to do with the detector and I mean that. Hope thi

It might have been me in the video. I havent watched it in a while. Bill asked me to set up a test dig so I called a friend in Brandy Station Virginia. It was while the detector was still in test mode. Dimitar actually made some adjustments to it there. It was a fun day and we found bullets, buttons, etc in a very hunted out field that I personally have gone over quite a few times. The land owner

Does the Vista X get more depth that the Gold? I've had a Vista Gold for several years. Got one used right after they became available in the US. What a deep machine and so good in iron! Ive found a ton of relics in iron infested sites with it. I have an Equinox 800 and Tarsacci MDT-8000. At a new relic site Ill grab the Vista Gold. I can move really fast with it and not have to worry about

Thanks for all the advice guys! Like I said the beach is new to me and I want to learn what makes the sand move and where to go when it does move. Ive hunted relics for 40 years and have only tried beach hunting a few times. I live in the Richmond area so Im not that far from VA Beach.

Im thinking of going to VA Beach Rudee Inlet and/or Norfolk beaches. The forcast calls for 20-30 mph NNW winds on Saturday. Im not real experienced with beach hunting so Im really not sure if winds from this direction will take some sand out or not.

What mode were you using? Is there a lot of iron where you're at?
Thanks for this post! I have really been struggling with the Tarsacci for relics and keep returning back to the Equinox for that reason. All the things you are saying about it being really noisy and not being able to pick out targets is what Ive been getting in farm fields. Ill have to try turning on salt and give it a tr

I’d like to thank Cliff (user CDV) for helping me with settings and many tips for beach hunting with the Tarsacci. We didn’t find any gold or silver, just pocket change, but the knowledge I took away was worth a great deal to me! Thanks Cliff!
Loving the detector and can’t wait to hit some of my colonial sites with it when I return home to Virginia next week.

I just got an MDT-8000 from Dimitar. I live near Richmond VA and was with him when we tested the detector at a friends property in Brandy Station a couple of years ago. I’m in Florida now for a couple weeks and would love to get out with someone that might be able to help me get the detector dialed in. I’m up in Monticello now but will be heading toward Clearwater next week to fish and metal dete
