Because they are not minting it any more I think the premium well be higher than silver eagles .Once silver eagles start minting again the premium well come down but there not going to mint junk silver there for the premium well go higher the

David what you show is normal nothing wrong with the etrac .Going to long tone or smooth well hit the target (BECAUSE ) the detector is not resetting between targets normal and pitch hold reset between targets .
Long and smooth do not reset between targets they are a continuous signal one after another .So by going slower in normal and pitch hold well show target thereby giving the detector more

I guess i did not word that right . 2 nails same size 5 inches deep fresh buried 1 nail no halo second nail same depth but in the ground with a halo .
What I am asking is the nail with halo orange rust around it have a bigger return than nail without halo .wet or dry conditions.
The reason I ask is I have 10 nail coin combinations buried in my test garden all coins were detected when buried a

Tom you say a square nail has the ability to have a 37 percent better return when the ground is moist.I have a ? what are the return ratios for a nail the same size on top of the ground compared to that same nail fused with halo in the ground i am thinking the nail in the ground well have a larger signal . sube

I would really like the deus2 to blow away the nox this would force minelab to get out a new flagship detector they had the last in 2012 it's time. They have 3 years of data from the nox so i can only imagine what they will come out with . subey

Your transmit signal is fixed your detector is running with it's brights on all the time .
Sensitivity only allows you to adjust for what returns you want to hear .
This is how i take it . subey

I hunt older and deeper coins with a ctx in dense thrash with a 6 inch coil 8 inches is max and a couple at 9 inches.
They say running lower sensitivity in thrash is better why if I lower sensitivity I loose these deeper targets .They say that the masking targets that are shallow will drown out the deeper target .
Since the detector is putting out the same power into the ground which is fixed t

A big thanks for the reply. So now that i know whats happening i have another ?.
Running the nox at 4 khz single frequency the dime rules and the pull-tab is weak there by giving the id of the dime.
So if we had a smf detector that had a range of frequency from 4khz to 8 khz in muti would this be a better set up for targeting higher conductors.
I know nickles and gold signals would be weak but
