This Open Forum is now DISABLE to new posts due to the "Phorum" Forum Software used for this forum being generally obsolete and basically no longer supported. Recently, the server that hosts this website upgraded to MySQL version 8.0.36 and Phorum 5.2.23 is not compatible with MySQL version 8.0.36. I've got a Steve's rod setup on my 800. I'm using the full counterweight setup with the Herke arm cuff. It balances the Coiltek 15" perfectly. The pod balances in my fingers and I don't even have to curl my thumb around the pod to swing it.

I will vote for Eneloops as well. I use them in radios and flashlights with good results. I like the fact that I can depend on them having a charge even if they have been setting idle for a while.

It was a PITA. I used the forgotten password link several times a day for a week which resulted in a msg that my "registration was pending and required a moderator" each time.
