Hi Tom. I just purchased the Manticore and will be getting it soon. I live in Norway and hunt mainly on old fields that have a good bit of iron in them. I was wondering if you could give some suggestions on which programs and setting I should start with to help my learning curve. It would be great if you could also give an overview og which programs and setting you recommend new users to use inby NordicDetect - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum

Thanks Tom for answering my questions. Can you explain how much separation you lose as you increase especially the upper ferrous limits to avoid falsing on small iron. What do you think is the maximum ferrous limits you can use before you lose separation capabilities in sites with a lot of for example iron nails. Hi Tom. I’m currently detecting with the nox 800 which I really like but was thinking of purchasing either the Manticore or the XpD2 like many others. I’m currently on a waiting list for the Manticore and have been watching a lot of YouTube videos. It seems like many people that have received the Manticore are complaining about abnormally high falsing on iron with the Manticore compared to theby NordicDetect - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
