The CZ 3D was the unit for old tech that set the benchmark for air test a silver dime. I loved my F75 LTD. It was sparky and fast. I pulled lots of silver out of iron with the 5" coil. My Makro Racer 2 with 5 1/4" oval coil blew my socks off. Super fast for the time and had the right setting for a cherry picker like me. But still the most beloved to me for old is the E Trac. Still addic

I jumped from .6 to .71. It didn't change the WS6 from 6 and stranger is all my custom programs but 1 were deleted. It left the x-y program which is program 13. lol It was easy enough to upgrade the WS6 and pair it back up.

Check out Calabash Diggers fast program for iron. I used it with my 11" coil and while a bit of a handicap it pulled a 1906 barber dime and a 1912 V Nickel from a spot where a building burned down decades ago. Lots of trash. 4 or 5 reactivity and 1 iron volume square pwm audio. HH JR

Tons of videos on You Tube that cover a variety of ground conditions. Have about 6 custom ones that I just tweak if needed from x-y to Goldfield and a couple beach ones. Flexible as it gets so far.

Reminds me of the love for square nails that the CZ 3D had. Found that it would disappear when you circled the target. Nails would also move when pin pointed and end up in the side of the plug. Old school when there was no iron bias setting lol

It seems from the audio it saw the ring attached to the chain. What do you guys think? Nice find for sure. Friend was in same area last week and got a nice gold ring. Still if it had only been 14" lol

My comment on CD beach hunting was not meant to be derogatory but to show he may not be aware of these factors. I never stated he was trying to pass himself off as an expert. Only other time he goes is if the wife wants to go. He states that on one of his earlier video's. I will try to run up to Sunset Beach this Sunday with my Tarsacci and stick a nickel in the sand the same way.
I will a

I know the beach he was at and I hunt it occasionally(rarely). Sanded in and flat. For the most part if you find anything it would be a fishing weight or tourist trash. CD only goes on the beach when he is doing a test. Not a beach hunter. lol

Owned the Racer 2 and the Gold and while they have some neat usable options, with the stock coil I was not impressed with the depth. The Racer 2 with the 51/4" oval coil was the ticket in heavy iron. Pulled a lot of silver in spots that needed the fast response separation and descrimination. Light weight and balanced with no issues of build quality.

Guys we are talking about Friendly's! Who cares? Banned or just don't go there like myself. Guys I have met CD several times and I find him to be a soft-spoken southern gentleman and the way I see it doesn't need to waste his time with your opinion. If he says he believes he's been banned you are wasting your breath so let's talk MDing!

I paid 800 for the EQ800 when it came out so price is close and seems like a value at that price. Performance will tell. Chinese aren't the only ones who can back engineer a MD. I guess in some ways it would come down to the algorithm used. I will let you know when I get mine. Is it possible the designing was done in Turkey and built somewhere else cheaper? I have been greatly disappointed i

I have spoke to my local dealer and got in line. I need a good yard hunter as I already have one deep ass md for the beach. I have had the Racer 2 and the Gold when they came out and they were super fast for the time and when the Racer 2 was paired with the 5" oval coil it would pull coins out of trash where the E Trac couldn't. I was never a fan for the feel of the EQ being nose heavy

I have to join the choir and say without this forum I would have moved on down the road. What you get here is not only technical info but the insight into it so layman like me can understand and use it to help increase quality of finds. I feel most can take a md and go to a virgin or lightly hunted site and get a nice find. Its finding the one that got missed because of masking, a hard hunted sit

I'm 6' and like coil closer to me so I don't hyper extend my shoulder. I like the 12" balance. It doesn't feel as nose heavy like I get with the Equinox with its 11" coil. Its my understanding that Black Sand on doesn't effect depth but can

With the beach looking better than it has in a couple years I have taken the plunge and ordered the 12" Beast. I used the 13" Ultimate on my E Trac and the benifits of the coverage and added depth was worth the cost. Only it was not waterproof and if not careful moisture would ruin it. Enjoyed taking to you Arron and look forward to trying the Beast out.

Some cold water you are in. Got to be in the 50's. Just wondering what you do with your bottles. When I was doing that type of diving I had to dust it when on display at home so I sold my brass port holes and musket parts because of that. Nice finds.

Nice toy. Had a 70 Evinrude just like it on my 1980 16' bow rider. Carry a spare spark plugs as they are prone to foul. Balance the tanks on both sides. Surprised since your diving under 30ft you haven't got the new tank system that is out for shallow diving. Tank half the size and last as long as you can stay in the cold water. Lots of islands in Georgetown/Charleston area that had lo

I'm attending a club hunt next weekend and putting it to the test on a 400 acre farm with a boat load of CW history. This site has produce some great finds and hunted a great deal by a small group of people. Sandy soil and I imagine lots of minerals from fertilizers made of manure and iron in the upper Pee Dee. Should be a good crowd and sure some finds still left to be had so I am trying an
