Your best to ask Daniel ...I've only used it for gold,in bad soil. Daniel had the same detector before. I know he would prefer the gpx5000...but you can save a bunch, see if its for you,if not, sell it and get your money back. I will sell it to you for $600 plus actual shipping.

My son uses the snake on his AT Pro...he loves it, and when I tried it ,was very impressed. Nailed a 6 inch dime ,that my Tendon with 6 inch coil could not hit.

I get ya on the pack Daniel. But when I detect, its usually more of an adventure trip, lol. I usually hike 3-15 miles, often deep into a canyon. So need to carry alot of water n food. I understand that doesnt fit the bill for most.

Hey Keith,
Today I was under my truck, replacing my clutch and rear main seal...fun,lol. My son has the day off from School and work. All sudden he comes outside all excited "Dude! Check it out! Thought this was just a lantern part...but look, its part of an opium part" haha, he's obsessed and way better at research than me.

Thats what Im saying. Would love to work WITH them. Matter of fact, if I was 18 again, I would put my energy into a degree in archaeology, instead of partying.
