Owned many models but always remember the Toltec 100..lead on a stick...found a 1839 seated dime at old meeting place five inches deep standing straight up in the plug.
Area had been pounded by many but the Tesoro came thru,,,

Good info and can see someone making their own which would indicate penny, dime, quarter, half...have two shoe boxes of old corroded wheat pennies from high tone..
Remember these pins are closes together and tough to solder so if you don't have equipment or expertise have them done professionally...

Just a fact of life most gold rings lost are thin womans rings thus under normal circumstances answer would be the aforementioned and fall in foil range..
This could change of course in an area frequented by male activities and such.

Tried many but the old 3 in 1 with the wooden handle served me well for over 20 yrs..A little shorter from sharpening but did the job...knock offs with the plastic handle just didn't hold up...

Indeed looks interesting...but don't expect silver or gold...more like fishing equipment...use a rope not a chain as if you get stuck you will swim to shore...

Matter of being lucky or not....some are hot and vice versa....only way to buy a new one is have dealer try...or buy locally and try yourself.....
From experience with CZ's old and new had ones with poor performance in a test but went deep in the ground where it counted...???

Problem with the tube...lots of times you know more than the tuber...then again always a little tip or two and one can't know enough in this hobby...grab a cold one or perhaps a hot one if available...

Thanks Sniper not a true tone mode certainly an option which I was aware of and with the optional expensive detech extra coil no problem if I don't get any respectable offers..not a problem just a learning process....
