The Compadre is the lowest priced Tesoro, for around $160.65
The Silver is around $254.15
The Cibola is around $361.25 (these are Kellyco prices)
I am hoping that Tesoro will come out with a flagship type of detector, not a lower/middle end detector to take the place of the Silver.
If they don't do a beep and dig and decide to offer a VDI machine, I hope they do it right.. with a l

Beyonder-Pa,
Thanks for your thoughtful reply, I appreciate it.
When I first started coming to Dankowskis forum, it was full of helpful, insightful and technical information. If there was any bias, it was towards Fisher machines (makes sense given Tom Ds background). Keith Southern has always had thoughtful/concise reviews of the detectors (if he was just a coin hunter, instead of a relic

You must have missed all the posts on the forum made by people bashing the tones issue on the MXSport (sarcasm)... Mostly by people that had no intention of buying a MXSport...
I just think it is funny that the Racer 1 had coil ear issues and now the Racer 2 seems to have the same problem. I am just waiting on the people that bashed the Whites to start bashing the Racer... for a known problem.
