According to Dilek they are aiming to have some out by spring. No word on sizes but I did mention to her that a 9" concentric would be nice>

9" concentric to start. Would have nearly the same depth as the stock coil with better iron handling and better sensitivity to small gold. Would be my primary wading coil in fresh water. Can't handle the big DD coils in the water anymore.

I have resorted to pinpointing every single one. It's about 50/50 as to the result which helps eliminate some.
I'm going in there with the ID Edge and 6" coil for grins and giggles. Maybe the single low Freq can do something.

None of that is working for me and I have been using all those techniques for years. Can't take 50 tones tho LOL
May just be the conditions I'm hunting in. Was at a different site today and was a bit better. That pit of nails though is just too tough. Dropping sensitivity way down is my next move there.

Did a quick 1 hour hunt yesterday at the church camp. Spent most of that time in the nail pit where the original frame church burnt to the ground. On a previous hunt there using FE 0, 2 shallow wheat cents were found (2-4" deep) and the TID smeared with extremes of 20 to 30 but mostly a little better. The 6" coil of a friends 800 narrowed the TID range down considerably.

Tom I appreciate your quest for perfection and take your word that there are gains to be made with this new mode. But is it really worth the time ML spent on the software update for the small incremental gain?
I would have preferred they spent the budget to produce a coil in the 9" range. That in itself would trump this IMO.

Thanks Tom, will give it a go using those settings.

Good write up Mark. I have to agree with your findings in every way. Only difference is I pretty much stick with Park 2 but I do get the same results at those hunted for 10 years or more sites. Will have to set up Park 1 in in user profile and compare. Really hard to believe the walk around signals you can get where other machines don't see the non-ferrous or only get it from a small win

That's to bad, I'm sure he has his reasons.
I have never met Paul but consider him a friend.

Looks like M/N has some great preset programs going with the Anfibio. Shows a well thought out design.

What threw me the most when I first got the Coinstrike was the "threshold" control. Being used to an all metal threshold, the way it's set up is a** backwards. Higher negative numbers increase the threshold. Really whats up with that? It's a gain control not a threshold control Dimitar! LOL Get it close to 0 or in to the positive numbers and it hits on every bit of foil in

Great video showing the difference between the two machines. Nox did a good job overall considering.
Daniel what is the history of thefield that so many bullets have been and are still being found there??

Glad it's not my dirt Tex. On the Coinstrike, sens 7-8 with threshold as high as the dirt will allow always worked for me. If hunting in nails use tracking to set the GB point and let it see some iron before turning it off. That sets a GB that allows just a little better see-thru.

Those were the ones that got me every time, horizontal with the tip of the nail pointing toward the center of the plug.
