I saw a picture of it yesterday on Facebook and then found a video of it on YouTube. It sounds like a Explorer/CTX but in a Equinox housing. I'm definitely getting one if and when it's released!

13-15 khz detectors are definitely a happy medium for high conductors and low conductors like gold. I've found more in those frequencies than any other frequencies I've used. I guess that's why I always end up going back to a F75 or T2.

Scott hit the nail on the head I was setting the disc to 9.9 instead of 99. Thanks for your

I'll do a video and show you what it's doing. So you guys can see what I am talking about. It won't disc nothing out. It will reject a nail and that's it. You run your disc up to 99 and nothing is rejected not a nickel or anything.

I understand that you will dig deep pulltabs but when you take a small piece of aluminum foil that rings up in the 40 vdis and run your disc up to say 70 and the tone comes through load and clear and it laying on top of the ground something is wrong.

I'm positive that it's not the settings I have tried any and all programs and they all do not have any form of usable discrimination. The only thing that works is running up the iron disc reject.

I have tried it with both coils and they both won't disc out anything. I have tried all factory programs and it doesn't disc out anything on any of them.

I have a question about a set of WS5 headphones I recently got. They are on version 5.21 they don't discriminate out unwanted targets like small pieces of aluminum cans or foil balls on top of the ground even with the discrimination ran up to 99. Is there anyone on here that has had a similar issue that can help me? Thanks in advance I have a 9" LF and 11" LF coil I've tried b

The Nox is a excellent machine it finds the goods but I would be just as happy swinging a Vanquish 540 or a XP Deus or a Fisher F75. All of them find stuff and they all have their cons and pros. But in the end if the user doesn't take the time to learn how to use them their results won't be that great.

The SEF 12x15 is heavier than the Nel Thunder and attack coil. I just looked it up. But I do like SEF coils better due to target separation.

I actually like the Vanquish. It's a good detector and have gone to spots I've hunted with a lot more expensive detectors and found coins that they missed. The V8 coil is awesome and deep and target separation is great. I think if you take the time and learn the ins and outs of the the Vanquish 540 that it definitely has its benefits. I have a Nox 600 also and I feel like I ain't m

Badger I think he tries to do comparison videos to make another brand look bad. Just like the CZ3D video he done. His ground balance was way off for his soil. He knows the Deus and Equinox quiet well you put another machine in his hands and he doesn't know how to set it up right. He bashed a bunch of the guys on this forum that know their crap. I have actually enjoyed seeing less of him on t

Yeah shorted coil I had the same thing happen to me. Mine was shorted right where the wire goes into the coil. I fixed it with some heat shrink to keep it where it didn't short out any more.

Steve the VDI's change a little using different frequencies. I really like using around 15 Khz on it. It seems to be a good frequency for coins and jewelry.

I have a ORX and have been pretty successful using it for coins and jewelry. It smacks my 10" dime in 4 bar dirt. If you are coin hunting dig all 90's and up VDI's and you will be popping coins up left and right. The X35 9" coil goes from 4khz to 27 or 28khz. It covers all of my hunting needs.
