Forgot to add that this fellow selling them is a very honest guy I hunt with him regularly and you guys have nothing to be concerned about dealing with him.

Well I don't know what machine would be good for you to use with the hearing loss you have, I have Garrett AT-Gold and a AT-Pro these detectors don't have volume control but using a set of Grey Ghost headphones the high tones will blow your ears off on silver so you might need to take a look at one of those. I would stay away from the Minelab FBS machines they have flute like sounds for

The FZ-12 is a way over priced coil!! Jimmy if you want to clean that area out get you a Whites TDI or some other type of pulse machine and dig everything!

Thanks Kevin it was a very good hunt for me. I had never found a seated coin in my 20 years of detecting and was beginning to wonder if I ever would!!

It is very similar in target seperation in iron but with more depth, I loved the G2 but it just didn't seem to hit on the higher conductors as well as the AT-Gold does.

Since getting the AT-Gold I haven't used my AT-Pro it seems to be a little better in nails and it's depth is very good I have dug coins in the 9" range, the soil in my area is moderately mineralized. My soil has topsoil that's usually 9-10" then you hit clay which doesn't allow coins to hardly sink there fore I think the reason why I have seldom found coins over the

Well I took the AT-Gold out to a spot I've hunted a ton with Etracs,T2Se,CZ-5,CZ3D,and I pulled 3 great coins a 1890 Seated Dime,1907 Indian Head Penny, and a 51 Roosevelt. I also have hunted this site with the AT-Pro and don't see how I missed these coins using it. I was using the AT-Gold with 8.5x11" coil hunting in disc 1 iron disc at 30 and sensitivity at 1 bar from max. I am r

I will give my opinion on the AT-Pro & AT-Gold after I get more hours on the AT-Gold bigboar the AT series is the best detectors I have used in iron. I am going to attach the 8.5x11" coil to the AT-Gold this weekend and go to a site I have hammered to see if I can pull out a couple more Civil War relic keepers I will also have the 5x8" coil in my back pack in case the iron is to thi

Yeah on coins I'd go AT Pro but I can tell you this in nail infested sites the 5x8" coil is a must have on either machine. Either one of these machines are capable of finding coins I have found coins with both. In the end you can't go wrong with either machine in my book it's all up to what features you want or don't want. Like myself for example I loved my AT-Pro so much

I dug a 1944 Standing Liberty Half at a measured 9" using my AT-Pro last weekend with two large nails in the same hole this detector keeps amazing me!! I also just got a AT-Gold and plan on using it as my relic machine. I love using the 5x8" coil on these machines it's a great combination. I am very happy with these two machines and have a ton of confidence in using them. I have le

Heck I would get an Etrac if it was me unless your a water hunter that would be the only reason I'd get a CTX there's been a lot of guys that had Etracs and sold them to get a CTX and then turned around and sold them to get their Etrac's back. Just my two cents

Here's my two cents I wouldn't have a detector that is only two toned with very little to no discrimination, I don't like digging trash especially in dirt now on the beach I might would dig more but I don't live close enough to the beach to need one. Relic hunting is another area the deeptech might excell at but again with out id I will just keep my old Fisher 1265x if I want

It's great for selling detectors, but it's sad to see the holes these new treasure seekers are leaving in school yards and parks!! These shows need to show the proper recovery and filling of holes or it's going to be the death of our hobby!! I have been trying to find a AT-Pro to buy to have as a back-up to my other AT-Pro and one can't be had used or new for the five hundred

Keith I have to agree the AT Pro is the best machine I have ever used in iron!! It smokes all other detectors I have ever owned!! with the 5x8 coil on it I'd put it up against any machine on the market! I am looking at getting a AT-Gold or another AT-Pro for a backup detector and this requires me to get rid of my Minelab Quattro which is a great machine on deep silver! But in the areas I hun
