This has got to be one of the funnest machines I've ever used. I'm finding tons of coins and buttons with it. I have been working sites I've hammered with a variety of other machines new and old. The Vanquish is finding stuff at great depths with excellent target seperation. I found a war nickel last week at around 8" with the V8 coil and yesterday I found a no date Buffalo atby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I think North Georgia Detectors is the repair center for them Del.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum

His daughter just posted that he had passed away on Facebook. Please send out prayers to his family.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Well I have the 540 pro pack and the 5x8 coil is awesome I also just ordered the 10" coil because like Des I find it nose heavy.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
The Vanquish 540 is a very fun detector to use and that 5x8 coil is the cats meow.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Man I hate to hear that. Hooch and me have done some trading and what not over the years he will be missed. Prayers sent out to his family.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I have the 540 Pro pack and it's a fun detector to use and it gets pretty good depth and has good seperation abilities.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I'm interested in it when you get tired of it shoot me a message.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I sneezed twice yesterday at the Home Depot and you should have seen how quick people cleared out around me! LOLby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Welcome back and look forward to hearing how your hunt goes!by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Well I am now just looking for a smaller coil for the Coinstrike or Edge. Mascard1 took care of me on the 10-1/2".by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I'm looking for a 10-1/2" and 5" coil if you have one.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Daniel I'll be your nephew if you'll take me digging. Lol messing with you man. But that's awesome of you to take her digging bud.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I ain't sure what it is with the Nox but I dug a lot more trash with it than any other detector I've used and it wasn't because I didn't take the time to learn it.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
There has been a few machines released lately that everyone thinks are the best thing since sliced bread. But is it really the machines that are finding you the goods or is it your digging more targets not knowing for sure what your going to find? I have had a couple of these new machines and my good finds rate went up but also did my trash finds rate. A few on this forum and a couple other forumby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Calabash do you still have that junky AT-GOLD that is useless in your test garden? If so I'll give you 100 bucks for it because I know it probably keeps you up at night being under the same roof as yourself. LOL!! I'm just messing with you!by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I recently acquired one from Keith Southern and I was wondering if any of you guys are using one. I met up with Keith and went on a hunt and used the Racer 2. It seems to be a fairly deep machine and seems to like brass and lead and copper targets quite a bit. I have the stock and Sharpshooter coil and the small 5" coil. I do a lot of old house type hunting that's loaded with iron. Whatby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
In my dirt 5khz is deep it hits my 10" dime 3-4 bar dirt.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I thought Fenn had passed away a while back.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I have a Nox 600 and a ORX. I love the 50 tones on the Nox. But I think the ORX is deeper in my ground and is better balanced and has better target ID info.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
XP Deus ORX and the Minelab Equinox machines get good depth in Georgia Red Clay. I live in North Georgia and I hunt in some bad red clay and these two machines work the best of all the machines I've used.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Well there's several older machines that come to mind I'd like to go back to but my elbow won't allow me to. One's the Explorer SE Pro another is the Fisher CZ's. Now I'm swinging a Deus and a Equinox 600 anything heavier than that is no longer a option without use of a Sling and I hate being tied to a machine.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
5" DD and maybe a 6" concentric coilby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I think this is the only video that Makro/Nokta has released with other manufacturers machines in it. And I don't see any jabs at all in it. Maybe a little bit of humor in it though.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Keith is doing good I done some trading with him yesterday. I don't think he's one for drama and bickering and I think that's the reason he's not posting much on this forum.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Well I guess it's a good thing that MakNok is on its game as far as customer service. I've never owned one of their machines but the Simplex + is likely to be my first one.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I contacted his daughter and she said he is in the hospital with a bad infection. So if y'all don't mind send Dan up some prayers. I'm sure he would appreciate them. Thanks Morganby 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
Dang that's not a bad price on repair. It's cheaper than buying a whole new machine the cost of the coil is almost that price.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
I have Red Clay soil the Nox handles it pretty good and gets good depth in multi frequency. Another machine that handles this red clay is the Deus ORX with a high frequency coil.by 88junior - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum
