Anywhere & everywhere I normally hunt but no "tot lots or new schools or new/er parks" -
don't hunt those much anyway unless I'm just playing around/passing some time for some reason or another!

I don't have the answer to that question but I'd like to know too!
It's almost as if it were in a low lying area on a road/trail and they used the logs as a "fill" over what may have been swampy ground at the time so they coul

Yeah - makes you want to rent a backhoe and/or a dozer and remove about 3ft of earth in some places!
I remember when they removed the 1st 8 or 10 inches of top soil in the oldest park in town (my home town) to completely redesign/re-landscape it back in the early 80s - it's a huge pa

I'm not worried about "depth" here Dan ;-)
I have a few machines that pick up dimes at 10/11

Just further reinforces my decision in choice of the one I'm saving up for to add to the collection here ;-)
Thanks for sharing Keith and keep the vids comin!

USED FISHER CZ-3D - the rare 1021 SN# - NASA TUNED for sale on the site for an opening bid of $624.95 in case anyone here is interested.
Says it's certified by Tom to detect a dime at 11.5 inches!
If I had the extra cash I'd pick it up myself!
Soooooo many detectors to buy but so little time/cash!

Kieth - that's a great buckle/find...
You guys are lucky down in the south there!
We can only dream up here in the north of finding the GOOD civil war stuff like you guys do.
There is one camp that I used to hunt many yrs ago until I moved 100 miles across state - it's an island approx. 1 mile in circumference where the union trained the 5th and 23rd infantry troops before depl

Here's one of mine (picture is not of my original coin - those pics are long gone as they were on old computers I no longer have) but I found this on the web just to show which coin it was (mine was in similar cond.).
Found at an old church in a lumber camp/town in northern Michigan back in 1997 - it was 10 inches down in muddy/clay type soil near the old road that led to the lake where t

I own one and I love it. It took a while to get used to as when I 1st purchased it - I felt/thought that it was nothing more than a glorified ace 250 but - after using it more and more - it grew on me to the point that I wouldn't be without it now. It's a versatile machine (land/water) and is hard to beat for the $$
I have found items far deeper than I imagined the machine would go f

I believe these machines (the whole line of them) are made over in like Turkey or someplace in the middle east -
someone here mentioned Europe but that's not where they're made.
I've seen the depth test for the Golden Sense unit which is very impressive (a quarter at up to 32 inches deep??) but like someone here said - what about unmasking capabilities and/or operation in hi

Nope -
I'm saving up for the Vista Gold myself but I'll be ordering from the USA dealer when I purchase.
I just bought a Tesoro Tejon at Christmas time to add to the collection so the wife says I have to wait/save for the Vista - she doesn't understand why I feel the need for 4/5 machines.
I keep telling her - *1* doesn't fit the bill as do all/be all the same as 1 p

On what? The whole Hitler impersonation & such or the AT Pro being portrayed as a simple "toy"??
I found the Hitler thing kind of funny in how they were all so serious & mad about their hunting grounds being over-run by other hunters and in how he was making fun of the wrestler guy (annoying wrestler) that I too can't stand with his fake BS show. If I could get $5000 for

And nice Dime BTW go-rebels ;-)
That's a great find in any cond. but I agree with Tom - they should have (and usually do) assign a grade of Genuine but also add "environmental damage" on the label. They can tell when the coin has been dug and usually attribute it via grading.

Good job and thanks for sharing! They seem to be good machines - looking at the Vista "Gold" as a possible addition to my collection in the near future.

Very nice coin/job in cleaning it!
The die break is an excellent detail - makes it a unique piece and certainly worthy of adding to any collection!
