Hey Keith, wished I would have waited a few days and purchased yours. I picked up a new one but having trouble with it, does not want to shift from AM mode to discriminate.
Ever had this problem with yours? Otherwise is a good machine, quite deep on coins.

Thanks for the videos Keith! Been running a G2 and it does good, but the tin in my sites really causes me a lot of headaches! You say the Omega does better on tin and aluminum because of the lower frequency?

Hey Aaron, just the bottom piece is stamped "sterling", but I presume the top ones are too. If I had to guess, I would say English made. The site has much history, both the Santa Fe Trail and also the Old Spanish Trail pass through the area. Find a lot of old Spencer carbine cartridges and even a rusted reciever at an old stage coach stop.

Has anybody come across one of these? Was in an late 1800's site the other day and found this. It was in peices and I laid it back together as I thought it should be, the bottom one is a dragon design with "sterling" stamped into the back. Perhaps a pocket watch fob?

by Sergei Upstateny
On July 23rd, 2013, the Russian parliament enacted a harsh Federal Law - N245-FZ, prohibiting amateur metal detecting altogether in Russia. Now a Russian detectorist may face a 4-year jail term or $200,000.00 fine for

I e-mailed AKA on U.S. dealers and they said Kellyco would probably be their dealer here in the spring (April). Gary's UK site is also testing the Signum 7272, he praises the Sorex Pro!

The 5" just doesn't go that deep but here in the "high desert" small objects especially, don't sink that deep. I've found a lot of old coins pretty much on the "surface". The 13" Ultimate, being double D, is no slouch, even in the trash!

I'm here in New Mexico, can pretty much hunt all winter. Just hooked up with a rancher who has 10,000 acres here, has the Old Spanish Trail and also the Santa Fe going through his ranch, just might have to ask him if he wants to "adopt" another kid! Lol

I don't belive a word the "common " news puts out. Tell me why all the "east block" countries are sucking up all the gold they can!! They aren't stupid, 2014 will be an interesting year for the U.S and the Federal Reserve.

I will vouch for the ultimate, much more sensitive along with improved depth! My go to coil until the ground becomes "too infested", then the 5". I hear good things about the Nel 5", probably bettter than stock 5.

Hi Steve, I run a G2, the old square nails don't give me much trouble but the "dagblasted" little quarter size pieces of rusted tin are problematic! They always read in the low 80's, but it jumps around a little bit (unlike a coin signal) you kinda know what your digging after a while but on the old sites I usually dig anyhow because a lot of the good artifacts will do that. C

Earthclinic.com is a good site to look at. Apple cider vinegar (with the mother) is one that has worked for me, especially for joint pain, arthritis, etc. Heavy metal toxicity is one of the major causes for these auto-immune type ailments. I was tested by a good homeopathic doc and found to be heavy in lead toxicity, which causes low thyroid function, renal artery stenosis and other difficulty

Sorry to hear about your loss Keith, my dad left the same way a few years ago, he was a Marine in WW 2. One has to really respect those who saw action in defence of our freedom.
I guess the only consolation and at the same time tremendous joy is knowing that one day all believers will be together in eternity! Instead of "no joy" it will be "ALL JOY" !
And even better yet, we

Have been using the G2 with 13" Ultimate coil, click on link:
pic #1 is a 30 gram meteorite found at an old mine site, I believe it would be classed as a "mesosiderite" because of the high concentration of iron, with much smaller amounts of nickle, cobalt, etc. Had it x-rayed and examined by a geologist who recommended sending it off to the New Mexico School of Mines for further

Hey Keith, thanks for the video, I recently purchased the 13" Ultimate coil. It really "wakes" up a G2, took it to a soccer field that I worked over pretty good with the stock coils and was amazed at the "stuff" I had missed! It supposedly goes 2" deeper also but haven't seen that just yet as items tend not to sink too deep here in the high desert, even pulled a
