I hear you goodmore......In my line of work I've seen the results of a non-justified shooting...the man was found not criminally accountable...but he was sued civilly.
He lost his business then his home due to legal bills and was sued for a half a million dollars...lost everything all because he felt he had the right to protect his property.
Which he did....was it a wise choice...I think h

Be like playing a guitar upside down...they missed the boat on that one.
But I guess when you really think about it... there's more of you rightie's then lefty's ...al

Hello,
I've got a co-worker that wants to get into metal detecting.....I need your advice on what metal detector he should start out with?
Should he have one that pin-points and do manual ground balance..
I started out with a new Omega 8000 so I was a bit spoiled...he on the other hand doesn't want to invest that much on a starter detector.
Ok guys and gals....give me your opi

Thanks Dan-Pa..guess I'll give it some field time before I decide to send it off to Tom D...
Tom41..I'm going to see if I can find the small 5" coil.
Jimmyjiver..I've played with different swing speeds...found I get a bit better depth if I increase the swing speed.
But the best I can get is about 10" on a clad dime with the 8" coil.
This CZ3D seems to be able to

Hi,
Just picked up a used CZ3D...Mfg date 02/23/2012,the detector is in very good condition.
I've been doing a some air testing with a 8" coil...my test coin is a 1940 merc dime..... the best I can get is 9.5" with settings in enhanced, sen 4.5 to 5, volume 5, disc 0, GB 10.
In Auto tune I get 12" with settings sen 10, vol 5, GB 10.
Is this an average depth for a newer
