To me its just an improved F75/T2 the same as the Racer Impact Kruzer were/are just like the Velox was a GMP i wonder if the deep mode is deeper than the F75 boost mode and 14 inch dimes are now in range ? maybe the bigger coil makes this possible, the Impact could not beat the F75 in depth but that was with a similar size coil to the F75

Yes Des is correct the area must be bigger than the coil (by a fair amount as well) i was told this by Alain Loubet (XP) when i sent him a test of a bucket of mineralized soil with a pound coin under it that the Deus could not detect after getting a larger tub so the coil did not over hang with each sweep the Deus was able to detect the pound coin.

I do not find EMI a problem at all here in the UK the only negative thing so far for me is the screen going black when detecting in the hot sun (it took around 20 mins to clear)

i found that the Nexus MP was not very good at large iron id at depth as claimed by Georgi the Led system also is not anywhere near 100% accurate but its a fine performer in the field and with practice it is capable of great depth.

Yeah i forgot about the Rutus with the concentric that should smoke it still impressive though with the low conductor coins and additional nails i dont think my old F75 with the 10 inch concentric could do the same though.

I find it amusing that on the Deus Facebook groups lots of ''expert'' Deus users claim they can tell coke and never dig it when asked what the secret to not digging it was they say its in the tones i sure never learnt that skill with my Deus and my few thousand hours with it maybe i need a Bionic ear.

Tony Hunt from Detectorbits UK has got some leads that give you the same volume with your own wired headphones as the ML80's in bluetooth mode he got Maz (UK headphone maker) to find out why wired headphones were lower volume the leads will be available at the end of the week in 2 lengths short for WM08 mounting on headphones and medium for pocket use
