FWIW Minelab is still having trouble keeping supply of Equinox and Equinox accessories in the supply chain. Still frequently 1-2 week gaps of no supply for various items and detectors.

Well, some good news. Nokta | Makro's newest distributor in the USA will get their first stock next week and are the best detector distributor in the USA. No more games. Better dealer pricing on detectors and shipping. There will also be better MAP pricing (15% off current prices).
Better times ahead for all parties involved.

Only negative I see so far is the grip angle is still wrong but may not matter much due to the weight but will definitely make it feel more nose heavy than needed I suspect. It's not in production yet so that might change.

Of the US companies Garrett is best off IMO.
Nokta has added an additional (the best) USA distributor and repair center. They are all in.

If First Texas only realized how killer these machines would be with a 3/3h tone option like the F75/T2... One of the best ID machines they make with ridiculously hot all metal mode.

Garret PP2 is my favorite. The PP AT and Fpulse/Tek-Point close second. If the fpulse/tek-point fit my buzz bomb sheath better it would probably be #1. TRX depth with garrett 360 detection.

I added 208.115.229.66 metaldetectingforum.com to my host file and it appears there are only 19 users online that still have old DNS to make it to the forum.

From a more technical perspective. It appears they moved their domain registrar or dns host Tuesday night.

This new DNS host apparently doesn't have DNS records for metaldetectingforum.com
It was working on cellular and some slower to update DNS networks for a while but eventually even those networks got updated to no where.

with 5%OFF001 coupon code at serious detecting you can get the Quest Pro for $531 shipped.
Quest pro reminded me of an old style T2 as far as noise with selectable frequency and a really clunkly menu. Actually more nokta/makro like which also has very similar T2/F75 dna

While supplies last (serious detecting is the distributor) dealers also have cheaper wholesale pricing and thus cheaper unadvertised pricing. I've sold a few Quest detectors but mainly just their pinpointers and headphones actually sold. There is actually

Deus with 9" at 11khz Gary's Hot program. You can "hear" the shape and conductivity of objects and don't get as much high toning on nails and tin. At least hunting will be enjoyable even if you miss some.

Any accidental gold I have found hits right at nickel because I usually have everything just below or above disc'd out for coin shooting.

My experience is dealer and distributors will take care of DOA or defects but if its after use it would typically be taken up with manufacturer/warranty. Of course every situation will vary depending on circumstances. Genrally I would think dealer and distributor will do everything they can to help out but all are not equal thats for sure.
