Well you now know my situation so I’m glad when I can get out right now. Now Eta is stirring things up but from the cams not a lot of benefits going to come from it. Chains.... those are the money makers..... $325 there. But rarely can I let go of them lol. True Pirate nature.

As long as it’s not like the DF.... that was a bit to buoyant. We that don’t know the difficulty of designing, testing and producing a coil ... especially one to this unique of a machine surely appreciate the time and many man hours put into it. Sounds like we are still some ways off .... so looks like Santa going to have to go to option two lol. Thanks for the update Tom keep us posted.

Thanks Sven1, lets try it out. The format looks almost exactly like TinyPics and its simple. This was one of my last 13 grams, marked 375 Italy and acid tested 10K as well.... its 9" long.

I went to post another gold photo..... but it appears TinyPics no longer exists and they refer you to photo bucket. I thought photo bucket had a free program but apparently not. Most places i can post photos with my Iphone but not here. Anyone know why? Can it be easily changed without an added cost? Photos tell a lot.

This does not appear to be a IN THE WATER scoop.... more dry sand fast sift. Im just not sure the adjustment is needed vs the weight/hardware added. KISS and sturdy..... and most certainly ability to travel with it. Wet sand and in the water i prefer 1/2" holes .... you have to catch those little targets. Chains as an example they often are found ALMOST out of the scoop with 1/2" h

If it adjusts it moves .... if it moves it wears on a beach. Even in the dry sand if its damp down there or you dig shells you can put a lot of pressure on those scoops. Plus its a little bulky looking on top of the scoop because of the adjust-ability. For beach hunting it seems the ole KISS method often works beast. It appears to be more a dry sand scoop and the price is good. Congrates o

Thanks .....i expected it to weigh in a bit more for its size. I keep reading about the AQ....... and i tell you id really like to see that 12" for this machine. This winter is going to be slower than ever out there for gold finds with fewer snow birds and tourists from out of country. The virus hurt as well so a lot of recent drops dried up. I noticed yesterday we were getting light

First hunt this week. To many things going on. We had planned a ROAD TRIP..... but the wave action was just not worth the hours and gas. But still managed a quick hunt at the beach .... got just a little to much long shore drift with the wave so i called it after talking to one of the local hunters. Hoping to put in a few more hours this week. The gold ring is 10K 4.7 grams and the stones

Got my new POD Friday. Brand spanking new. However had a little SNAFU.... the Pod was shipped i think from somewhere other than PA i believe. Received it without the bottom half with its bolts. Contacted them immediately .... and they are on the way. As they say the Devil is in the details. Battery was indeed dead as well. Once i get it....... ill get it wet and see how she does. Aft

Its good for those whites owners who may need repairs. My understanding it wasnt the machines, but the use of the money that made them close the doors. I used to use whites machines very good customer relations and they would send you parts without you having to send in your machine. It will be interesting how they might combine their tech. Wonder if they will move operations to reduce cost

You may find it difficult to find parts even thru ML since the Explore lines were discontinued. Those machines IMO were even better than the Explorers. Yes theres a long learning curve but worth it and yes out of the box when the Etrac came out it shortened that curve. You didnt say what kind of targets you are looking for. If its silver then these early models have a distinct tone not mat

There are several kinds available. Matty St Germain does pelter and will install as will Tony Eisenhower. Patriots also makes a great pair that are waterproof. I dont believe Joe (OBN) is still doing the caps with the CTX connector...... those would allow you to use about any phones by simply adding a CTX connector on the phones. It would be worth checking with him thou...... sometimes he doe

Last week my battery conked out. The Nox ran on the charger..... but not the battery. I called Keith Leppert my dealer out of Fort Bedford Metal Detectors, where by the way ML repair is, and asked him what i needed to do. He gave me a phone number and they gave me an RMA to send the machine in. When i took the machine apart ... i noticed stress cracks in the plastic mounts that holds the bol

Good idea, but many wont know its out there. Those who go to forums normally sell there. New people........ look for forums but now days seems to be moving to FB. I try to buy local thru market place, FB, CL and friends. I can at least get my hands on the machine.

Just me but I don’t think air testing at that height will NOT provide the same affect as in the ground. Even the belief because a coil swings over a buried target 4 or 5” it translates to real depth. I believe low, high and buried will produce varied results. You just can’t beat a test garden

I got this tiny one...... but man we all are really having to grind out there right now. Then here comes another storm.... what will it move if anything. Summer drops were way down with more hunters, fewer depositors...... or no depositors for a few months. We still have few out of country visitors, and may not see nearly as many snow birds. Lot more locals....which seems to be a lot more o

I managed 3 hunts in the last week. One at a local hunt.... which was re-nourished in May this year only produced 3 targets and two of those was pennies. So basicly we are looking at two hunts jewelry. The one gold with stones.......was a super good FAKE, turned out to be gold plated 925 China. The other was 1.1 gram of 14K....... not much but its getting slim picking now. Everyone i know

A lot may depend on where they let you wander too. Smart person might want to check out old atlas to see what buildings were there, creeks or streams, old roads, and if additions were made to the house sometime they moved that dirt over the yard.

This looks like a real good hunt.... and for you MDT dealers and owners a good chance to show off what this machine can do. Thats a lot of land to play on especially for you real outdoor types.

Man that was dumb if thats what they are doing. We have a fairly new FB page which has really produced more hunters whe has turned it into a bit of a game showing off their daily sun glasses collection. But, even me and my hunting buddy has be talking about the huge number we been finding. It goes along with more rings......but far less gold this year. Is it possible it has to do with con

Jim, ive been finding some unique silver rings. Maybe because the crowds on the beach are different in some way. Me and the guys have been trying to find 4 or 5 rings this past week......just dont seem to be happening after the storm. Im really disliking the SS ALMOST golds....all of us seem to be getting more of them. The crazy thing this year has been sun glasses......we are finding them b

Finally the water settled down today and was able to do about 7 hours out there. 4 other hunters were out there grinding it today. When i left none had found gold. I hit spot where all the coins were deep......ended up getting nearly $3.50 in quarters. I assume it was a transition point where those floaters ended up. The rings i found are still some unique ones. The tiny one isnt marked

That was a white gold ring Aaron the picture didnt show that very well. Cliff..... re-nurishment isnt doing a lot for my local beaches even with all this sand movement. No cut just flattening it a bit but its a coarser sand and just nothing in it to begin with and it was just done in May so it would have to move several feet to even get down to what it was. Of course a lot of it moved out in

This week wasnt good hunting in the water that storm still had it rolling even today. Tides are shifting to morning thou so we could get down a little closer where the targets MIGHT be. I was having to follow a guy with a Nox and 15* coil and neither of us were getting much in the wet sand. I gave it a couple of hours and he had run up and down several times N to S so i decided to do the E to

Its a learned process Tom.......i have 1/2" holes in my Starvr scoop. What ive done is used SS wire.....ran left to right to reduce the size of the hole in about 3 lines in the V area of the scoop. Thats helps reduce those holes to 1/4", yet still clears sand. If i have to chase it .... i normally do a nice size scoop under it then lift it straight up and put my hand under that ar

Now the bad news........i had to separate guys come ask me to find their wedding bads. One was PLT the other a heavy gold bad.......couldnt find either one of those babies ....then came the storm

Local hunt today. Those sun glasses you see took me 15 min. chasing them around in a very deep hole almost neck deep. All that stuff in the background was my other junk. really wasnt much there with the beach having been renurished in May.....i think a lot of it was stuff pulled off the beach. The rings were pretty nice silver. One is a claddalh ring style id not seen before and is from Irel
