I called my dealer about getting the 11" coil for the D2. He in turn called XP. They said "Maybe some time this year". Well that pins it down, doesn't it?
He said he will let me know if there's any good news . . . none yet.

Tom D. The older dates on the new found coins parallels with your phenomena. Would you have observed the shrinking soil effect if the coins you found last were Wheats? Or did the older coin dates clue you into that line of thought?

That's how block basement walls get horizontal cracks, soil expansion. When the clay soil gets hydrated it expands in every direction, putting pressure on the block walls making them bow inward and forming a crack. Makes sense Tom D. Very important to keep your gutters working properly, especially if you have a basement. Are you finding any good old coins?

I ordered them with the detector, got the back phones instead. Talk to my dealer. He called XP and they said maybe sometime this year, Yikes! Same with the 11" coil.

Anyone who wears a beard like that, I would have to question. If my adult son cut his full beard in half, I would say get your bran checked, that foolishness crosses the line.
I can take the women's purple hair and the nose piercings and full sleeve tats....but that is just silly. . . .go away.

Sounds like a faulty unit, McCrory.
Take off your coil cover look the coil over. Is the coil charged? The clip has to be in contact correctly and the led will stay on when it connects. Look at the symbols for the coil and remote, make sure they have a full charge. I don't know, I'm taking off the wall guesses here.. . .feel bad for you, bummer.

The Deus2 Id's in the ground better than any detector I have ever used. What was it id'ing the dime, 87 in the soil? A dime on my D2 in air is reads 90 in Deep-HC. That iron nail only drug the Id down a couple numbers.. . .amazing. If you cherry pick coins the D2 is a great tool. I run mine with zero disc to hear the iron so I know what I'm dealing with. My swing changes when in lo

I wish Harold. In the soil on my property . . . even though it's NASA approved @ 12.2" on a dime, the CZ will barely hit a 10" dime or was it a 9" dime. . . been years since I ran i

Relic mode, Deus2, is the winner in the depth category between the EQ-800 and the Legend. I would have guessed it would have been Deep HC mode. He buried that halfpenny about 16" deep.
That's with the 9" coil on the Deus2 verses the 11" on the other units.. . . I am impressed.

SkiWhiz, I have the WS6 (back phones), not happy with them. . . they feel like they are going to fall off. Also, I'm used to full phones covering the whole ear and blocking out surrounding noise.

Are there any reputable well known dealers on here that have a 11" coil in stock for sale? What is the price? Also, let me know if you have the full remote head phones (over the ear) and the price. Thanks!

Wow steveg, you don't mess around, do you. Interesting.

I got the 9" coil I wanted. . but NOT the headphones.. .I don't like the back phones, they don't fit me properly, my ears might be too low on my head lol.. . . .I ordered the conventional ones that cover the whole ear.
That original Deus must have been something, to have XP in a tizzy not being able to keep up with demands of the Deus2.
That slave unit on the back phones s
