A V3 prototype...that's really interesting. I know you really cant say anything Tom, but is this a whole new V3 or just new software?
I sent mine back to Whites for the new "i" software upgrade.
Thanks,

My LTD is at FISHER right now, I could never get it to ground balance. It is a great machine. Very, very fast, but noisy. I know one thing..it is hands down the best balanced machine I've ever had. I can swing it for hours, no problem. Cant wait to see how it runs once Im able to ground balance it.

71 silver halfs in 5hrs between 2 people is hard to believe. Not saying its not true or possible though. At todays silver prices that's around $650. Not a bad haul for a few hours work.

I dont understand what in the world is going on over there. This seems to be a ongoing issue for months now. Last time I talked to Keith was about a month ago, he told me all this talk on the forums about him not servicing CZ's was not true, he's just backed up in his work.
I guess I'm going to have to talk to him again before I make a decision, although the ladie said he is ill

Just found out from Broken Detector that Keith Willis is no longer repairing old Fishers. If you have sent him one like me, you better get ready to mail them a check for $18 to get it back. According to his wife Fisher is not supplying the parts anymore and Fisher may not be servicing them either. That's what I was told 5 minutes ago...please don't shoot the messager...and don't fe

It sounds just like a coin...pinpoints like a coin. You basically nailed it though, this isnt private property, its a public park. If it wasnt I would have went back to the truck for my big shovel and commenced to diggin!

Well...up here in Michigan its highly unlikely to be a CSA plate, maybe US, especially for the area. I'm thinking of going back, digging up that hole again and sticking a 5" coil on the 3d, putting it at the bottom of the hole and see what the depth reads.

I have a really hot CZ3D that Tom tuned awhile back, it air tests a dime at 12" Yesterday at my really old park I got 2 hits on something really deep that I never found. The first one was a decent 4 way and ended up digging a hole all the way to my elbow (2.5 Leshee diggers). Had to go through alot a clay and roots. I was making to much of a scene with the big pile of dirt, as there were qui

I found a old homestead site, the house had been torn down, not sure how old it was. I only had a few minutes and had my 3D with me so I gave it a quick goin over and found a part of a lead car from the 30's stamped "Tootsie Toy company", a part of a toy gun that's stamped "DICK" with a oval around it, pieces of copper fittings and most interestingly of all a copper

Forget it.
I'm sure he appreciates the comments, but Tom is no glory hound. If you think he's looking for credit or prestige...you dont know him that well.
He doesnt even care if he is given credit for the 3D...and he designed it!

I'm wondering what the sink rate is on inland lake shores, especially small inland lakes where there is little wave action. Also the sink rate in the sand up away from the water. I remember a example of extreme sink rate Tom wrote about regarding a ring he tied a string too and sank almost 2 feet in less than a minute on the ocean shore line. I find that extremely facinating.
Thanks and Ha
