Being that you guys are in AM, yes I can see that as a problem Cliff. However in Disc, w the proper Salinity it’s not a problem in fresh water.

Here’s another example a even more deceptive sounding crown cap. Now, it wouldn’t have sounded this good if I wasn’t only in -15. I’m usually always in -30 when there’s iron around. And keep something in mind, unlike your standard VLF’s which lose depth and targets with high discrimination, that is NOT the case the Multi Domain Technology. Check out the demo....

Dew, agreed. Like pull tabs, crown caps come in different varieties. However, theres something important I forgot to mention in the video. The ground I’m testing in has really low mineralization and I usually GB @ 560. And this is what people need to remember, the Tarsacci ALWAYS works better in higher minerals. And that’s one of the reasons I did this video especially in this area. Lifting the c

Even in 18khz when whipping the coil over a suspected crown cap it may still sound good. Put into 6.4khz and now the cap will start to REALLY show itself!
Check out the video demo.....

It was on Rogers first,...
That’s why we shipped Dave H. the batteries CHARGED.
Each battery has an average of 20-30 hrs on it, plenty of time too get the charger!
Thanks!

Valid point Don, however it’s gonna be awhile, and probably not till next year.
Right now, Dimitar is still working on getting to 12” coil out.

Dew, you probably had heard that from me. Dimitar told me SB is activated at 600. However, there’s a few things about the MDT that Dimitar does not give definitive answers on. For example, the Black Sand feature. It’s one of those things that may or may not work depending on your type of mineralization, salt, iron, graphite, alkali content, EMI, ect. Dimitar didn’t want to have to write all these

My statement has NOTHING to do with you John. Read the article in my link. Dave is a relic hunter in the PUREST form. That’s ALL he’s EVER done for 37yrs. And finding some of the OLDEST relics in the WORST ground imaginable. We’re looking forward to what the first Tarsacci in the U.K. will unearth with Dave H. at the controls...

As per the online manual:
Yes. The MDT 8000 is IP68 rated. This means you can submerge the detector in the water up to 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.

Besides all the other good points Dew & Tom have made, I find it curious how people think Tarsacci should send out a test unit because they’re not being sure of it. How many people on this forum alone, have cash just burnin holes in their pockets, waiting to spend $1500.00 on the Impulse? And....there is relatively very little information out there on it, from regular ‘Joe” users? If you go o

Hey c’mon Steve relax dude! It’s ONLY metal detecting!
I never said, that you said “I couldn’t find small gold” (even though I am )
If you can find a VLF that can replicate what I’ve shown w the Tarsacci I’ll give you a Buffalo nickel!
Again, the numbers are the SAME on the gold as they are on the foil and yet the Tarsacci is able to disc the foil out.

Steve, my salinity is set at 43 and my disc is -30. I’m finding small gold after small gold and a 14k earring weighing less than 1/2 a gram.
I feel my results speak for themselves.

It seems since Keith’s foil video, people are finally starting to take the Multi Domain Tech seriously, (thanks Keith!).
I posted this video a few weeks ago and it’s buried in the Horizon thread, not sure how many here saw it.
If you watch it, please note that ALL the foil and ALL the small gold ID the same on the Tarsacci, and yet it is able to tell the difference between the 2 and eliminate t

I’m going to start a Tarsacci audio training video series, addressing some of the most commonly asked questions/issues.
Hopefully I’ll run across a really deep coin....

Harold, In regards to the pigtail. If you don’t like the 1/8 jack, it is possible to make a new pigtail w the 5 pin jack & 1/4 female jack. I looked and so far haven’t been able to find one but I’m sure you could have one made.
I’ve talked w Dimitar about it and why he didn’t make the pigtail w a 1/4 jack. His response is the same as it is w all the other suggestions Keith, Tom & I mak

Del, there are 4 Tarsacci dealers. East Bay Detectors, Palm Beach Detectors, Tom and myself. We all agreed to sell the Tarsacci for the same price.
Here is the warranty.....
Harold, the pig tail jack on the Tarsacci is 1/8. Yes, 1/4 would be nice but, nothings perfect.....
