Del, the Pro Golds sound great w Tarsacci, however the Golds have a 1/4 plug (Tarsacci takes 1/8), and I can’t stand using a adapter and couldn’t get myself the modify them. I use Keith’s Garrett’s, but put a 1/8 plug on them. They sound great!

The numbers obviously represent intensity of signal, and this is what I’ve found.....
70-60 - 0-2”
50-40 - 3-5“
30-20 - 6-8”
10-0 - 9-?
For some reason, I’m finding these numbers are not the same in water and are a lot different, meaning deeper.
Regarding salinity, I’ve experimented with it from 21 to 43, and still finding small gold like the 2 earrings earlier this week. I had salinity s

That’s awesome Dan!
Only 9 grams? LOL
The sound of that ring was probably not your typical round sound right?
And the VDI was probably a little jumpy, right? That’s because the ring is broken!
Remember what I told you w the first ring, there’s more gold there by all the aluminum you dug.
Guess what? There’s still more gold there, probably a lot of 2gram and smaller.....

Thanks Cliff! I’m using my iPhone 10xr. I had it on a chest mount. I guess the battery is one advantage w the iPhone, however it’s awkward to work w the big phone and turning the camera off and on.
I’ve got a GoPro8, it has voice command but the batteries go fast!
Josh, I really appreciate it, thank you! Filming your hunts is WORK and exiting is another thing! Those guys out there making rea

Nice going Dan!
Yes, the Tarsacci runs A LOT smoother in fresh water w salinity and black sand on.
I prefer 18kHz, 43 salinity, -9 threshold, -30 disc, sensitivity usually 7-9
By the looks of all that aluminum I bet there’s more gold where that came from!
Those square tabs have a very jumpy distinctive sound, you’ll be digging less and every time.
Also, with the rusty crown caps, you usual

You need to stop thinking in VLF terms guys.
The Tarsacci is NOT a VLF
We will provide video proof of the increased depth, before it’s release, trust me....

Again as stated before,,,we are NOT concerned about coverage.
We ARE concerned about DEPTH!
That is what the 12” is being made for, depth, NOT coverage!
And the depth will be SIGNIFICANT!
Nuff said!

Dew, according to what Keith and I have found, the Tarsacci runs A LOT smoother, less chatter and falsing while the salinity balance is activated. In dirt and water. And for salinity to be activated (as per Dimitar) the GB needs to be at least 600. I also like to note I keep the Black Sand on too as this may or may not help (as per Dimitar). Now to fair, I have tested it extensively it with the

Thanks Steve!
If you have rapidly changing ground mineralization and you are not aiming for the highest possible sensitivity, tracking can be used. The tracking only compensates for the ground mineralization. Also remember, the tracking only works in a 50 point spread, up or down.

Not sure if you’ve noticed, nobody’s really complaining about any of their Tarsacci ‘s leaking. The only reports we’ve every received is water getting into the battery compartment, due to either not having the cap tight enough or a missing o-ring. And if water does get into the battery compartment, (even salt water) rinse it out w distilled water and thoroughly dry it out and your good! There’s n

Steve, that’s gonna be a A LOT of paper & ink. Maybe TallTom can send you a PDF....(thanks TallTom, we appreciate it!)
If you have a smartphone, ipad or computer you can store it in there.
Also, not sure if you know, regarding the Tarsacci online manual. All the info in the index is instantly accessible just by clicking on it, just like the Equinox manual.
I keep the Tarsacci manual in my

The point is....when you disc out that coke what happens if you have one of those tiny hammered coins under that coke?

Thanks guys.
Ozzie, glad to hear you’ve made the Tarsacci leap, let us know if you need help! Stay cool on those roofs!
I never realized how difficult it is to make detecting videos, fortunately my 14yr old has taught me to edit, and that’s another thing! I must have missed filming a target when I called it a low conductor and dug a quarter, opps!
Dew, I’ve experimented w various ways o

The Tarsacci sure loves small gold, I’m starting to wonder if some other hunter is sneaking in there and leaving me w the crumbs... LOL!
Check out my hunt on video...
Thanks!

Don’t let anyone tell you the Tarsacci does NOT go deep on low conductors, in LOW mineralization. I’m finding tiny gold rings (less than 1 gram) in 6-10” sand. Check out my last lake hunt....
