I don't recall much anymore about Bryce's Findmall departure, but there was some words and jealously involved....as I recall. Glad to know he is still around.

I was wondering if any of the banned fellows might sneak back on now? Mudpuppy is the only one I would like to see back. He is a hoot! HH jim tn

I used Midwest several years ago and was satisfied at that time. I also used ARA a few years later as they would return the stones and paid a bit more then Midwest. Pretty close now $ wise, so will try Midwest again. It takes me a few years in between gold sales to accumulate enough to make selling worth while. Fortunately I have a local guy that pays well for silver and I dig a lot more of that

I had a CZ3d when the F 75 first came out and ran both of them for close to a year. Although sparkier then the 3d, the F 75 won out for its weight, depth, rapid target response and sifting through heavier trash. The F 75 has been my main swing ever since the first ones came off the production line and I still love it. Although the later versions do run quieter then the original camo version, a sl

I happens with the F 75, I know. In fact, that disappearing act happened this morning on a soggy woods hunt.
I was in B P mode working over 2-3" of leaf cover when I got a repeatable whimper. Removed about 7" or so of dirt and checked the dirt and hole. Nothing, nada, not even a tic. Probed around with the pin pointer and felt nothing. Removed a little more dirt, nothing in the dirt

That's a grand cat, Daniel. 61 lbs of anything that swims is a good catch. Thanks for the Tarsacci report. Mighty interesting unit. HH jim tn

Most of us on this forum are more interested in detecting and specifically new detectors, not the rantings of someone that got their feelings hurt at some point and thinks that this thread is a good place for revenge.
Yeah, lets get back to detecting. Good advice! HH jim tn

I for one, Rick, appreciate your enthusiasm on the AQ project. I get but a handful of water hunts annually, but have followed the progress of this detector now for quite some time. Thanks for your time and feedback. HH jim tn

My experience with the F 75's pretty much mirror Daniel's. I've had one since the very first camo version came out and used them as my main coin/jewelry hunting detector ever since. I now have a LTD2 DST and it remains my main detector. I can't boast of the results that Gerald (tabman) stated, but I have recovered annually 112-157 silver coins since that first camo version alo

What's best is still a matter of opinion. sonny(IN) asked if the orange Garrett pin pointer was still the most popular,,,,,,and seemly it still is. I use one most of the time as there is no messing around to do with it, but I feel my Fisher F Pulse is quite a bit deeper and I am going it now more often. HH jim tn

Sounds like a wonderful vintage collection you have, Paul. My grand kids are far more interested in Mustang cars and off road trucks and iPhones then they are detecting.
Good luck and have fun! HH jim tn

Paul, I located the White's Coinmaster and as mentioned, I'll send it to you. P M to follow.
I forgot, those big old rascals were battery hogs. This one has 2 battery holders, (all wires still intact) 1 holder holds 8 AA batteries and the other 6. I suspect it probably still works.

I started out in 1972 with a cheap Jetco ? (something) BFO and a couple of years later bought a used White's Coinmaster BFO. Yes, they were not very deep on coin size targets. Enough, though, to hook me into the hobby and I've been at it ever since.
I may still have both of those detectors up in the attic. If, so, Paul, you are welcome to the White's Coinmaster if I still have i

Now that was kind of fun. No name calling, "ole timer elites," just an expression, not being derogatory, I am sure.
I personally don't watch the Hoover boys, or any others of their ilk, but I, too, would expect some finds are seeded beforehand. Just like in many of the video's that are out there.
Anyway, Cal, and everyone, have a great and safe Thanksgiving. HH jim tn

Cal, I am so glad you think it is your civic duty to continue to compare the lowly A T Pro to the Nox on several forums every couple of months for those people that just might need some help.
Quite frankly, it only stands to reason that the Equinox will out perform the A T Pro and I am one of those elite old timers on this forum that knows this. I also know the Nox costs nearly twice as much a

Del, I resemble your remark(s).
You and Patsy have done well on those big silvers. But, just remember this revelation, the more you slow up, the slower you get. HH jim tn
