Good points. The combination of being highly contagious and slow recovery time is very bad. I wonder how long a person can spread the germ. Someone mentioned that the virus could be spread by one having the virus and the carrier not even know it (not yet showing symptoms). I rarely get sick, but when I do it goes immediately to my lungs...no sneezing, runny nose, fever, ect,,,,Lots of coughing an

I seen that X with expanded disc. I have had couple earlier Vista models....just wish they had a concentric coil available. The areas that i previously hit with my Gold Mountain King Cobra and Tesoro's never yielded anything else good with the Vista.....save tiny candy wrap. Kinda like going coin shooting with a Fisher Gold Bug. Good luck with the X, keep us updated.

Their is a balance between being careless and full blown hysteria. Regardless of what you believe we all need the Lords help. As far as home-remedies......my wife suffers from migraines.....she has tried every legal medicine known, with very little relief and added side affects. We found a home remedy that actually works, is natural and can be bought over the counter. I wont bore you all with the

If the U.S. had taken steps months earlier, all that would be different is the hysteria would have taken place months earlier. Take precautions and make healthy choices.....should be heeded every germ (flu) season. Yes, I know it's not the flu. Thanks

Some number comparisons arent equal. Yearly, seasonal, monthly, USA versus worldwide, ect...If warnings arent heeded things could get from bad to out of control, very fast. Kinda of a bad comparison, but reminds me of debt and compounding interest....the numbers can rise quickly. Now retail stores are in a "stock-war" and prices are rising fast. Friends, be careful and stay safe.

I read of some confirmed survivors of the virus....via internet. Main symptoms are fatigue, fever, cough, and overall upper respitory complications. The key to recovery was getting enough oxygen......breathing exercises. One booklet is entitled The Knowles Method of Breath Training. Hope it helps someone.

Agree with Cal Cobra. Really why would GB be important on a true multi freq machine?? Past Minelabs (BBS or FBS) didnt rely on doing GB..... they managed to find tons of silver. Ground Cancel and go.

Competition is what makes a game. Garrett could have produced a waterproof pinpointer or corrected their falsing problem many years ago. Sad thing is.....even the China made X-pointer doesnt false.....ever. Things really kicked into high gear after import Nokta-Makro (Turkey) introduced their first waterproof model. The Technology Train is full steam ahead....waits for no one. Thinking back, the

The first version of the F-pulse would sometimes freeze/lock up. I believe it has been corrected with an updated version. There are used ones on the market, but a gamble. Not sure how to tell which version one would have....perhaps by serial number?? The deepest stand-alone (not Sunray) pinpointer I have used was the Pistol Probe pulse. It was deeper than the TRX and slightly deeper than both Un

Whites TRX for inland. Choose a pulse type pinpointer (waterproof) for the beach or underwater. Garretts' pinpointers never last me long....no matter the color/vegetable.

Another difference.....the rechargeable sealed battery Nox (waterproof) vs the regular store-bought battery Vanquish. What is the warranty on the Vanquish?? Thanks

Even if one had a un-used, mint, sealed in original box, Wilson metal detector.....the warranty would be gone.....not comparable with a New warrantied machine. Some electronics go bad just by sitting over time.

I have used both a Garrett BFO and the Compass 100 kHz units just for the heck of it. Garrett's coil within coil idea is neat. They still find stuff in iron...LOL. What kHz does the BFO run?? Would like to try a C-scope someday.

I've used Deteknix / Quest pinpointers for many years with zero problems and zero falsing......great pulse tech. I also use a Whites TRX when I'm needing extreme depth. The yellow Land and Sea pinpointer (waterproof) is also great. Thanks

Also Tube search Modified Minelab Explorer....there are some more ideas. Seen one on Ebay year or more ago, in which the control box was put in a waterproof clam shell case. The seller showed a bunch of photos of it submerged in his bathtub to prove it didnt leak. He had the 15" Wot coil hardwired. Would be great for the beach.

As one already mentioned.......I also searched "Minelab Explorer 2" in tube videos. Clicked on videos authored by Monster Tube. He has an Explorer that he hip mounts. The Explorer's sound of silver is unmistakable. Thanks

Thanks Tom. I do appretiate your (and others) posts. Though some posts are over my head when it comes to technology or even how things are worded can bring additional questions. When it comes to Settings seems their is always a give and a take. Compromise may be Ok on an unfamiliar site...then tweak to sute. Agreed the Nox is one of the worlds flagships. Long live multi-frequency....love it.

F2 setting.......successfully discriminating crown caps (high setting) OR unmasking (low setting). In balancing the F2 setting to say setting of 5, would this give the Nox a clear edge over other models, including ID??? Would this balance change on a deep target? Thanks
