This Open Forum is now DISABLE to new posts due to the "Phorum" Forum Software used for this forum being generally obsolete and basically no longer supported. Recently, the server that hosts this website upgraded to MySQL version 8.0.36 and Phorum 5.2.23 is not compatible with MySQL version 8.0.36. Fun thread! I retired about 8 1/2 years ago from Pacific Gas & Electric Company, the major public utility here in northern/central California. Started out digging ditches on the gas side (always loved digging in the dirt) and retired from the electric side as an electric estimator.

Guess this is really for Wally, but does the Forum software support being able to upload pictures direct from our computers? I know how to use Photobucket and similar hosting sites, but like to post direct if it is possible. Thanks!

I know Kemper will disagree with my suggestion to Tom and Willie, the "authority" here, but I think this thread should be closed as it is taking away from good will that has existed on this site!
I am all for open discussion, but when it degenerates to the name calling, nobody benefits!
