I'm guessing there for underwater use?

Simultaneous multi freq, 4 -45 khz.
Wireless, waterproof, lightweight etc looks fantastic.
That just killed off interest in any other releases for me this year lol
Apparently price is £1450 with choice of 9"-11" coil, and Due for sale in UK in December.

You forgot the mermaid in a fish tank at a detecting festival lol, i think we can agree the detector that parachuted in lived upto it's grand entrance.

Maybe you need to revaluate your statement.
I have posted nothing slanderous in this thread, nor mentioned the Simplex, nor any biased or prejudiced remarks about your new detector.

Many including myself found the Nox had a marked jump in performance over other detectors I've used, especially in more mineralized ground for small hammered coins.
I'd say the Nok/Mak offering would need to have the same marked jump in performance over the Nox for many to even consider buying/swapping to it, especially in the UK as the Nox is a proven top performer.

Without a doubt the Nox has been the best machine by far for my own detecting scenario, small low to mid conductor targets in moderate to high mineralisation.

I done a quick comparison in ground between coils on quarter size coins and bigger, a gold ring and a handful of old coppers.
It's not a depth test as such, as both can be made to/and will go deeper in real life detecting.

There's a number of variations of the GM1, which did you buy?
My daughter's is the GM1 15khz with fixed GB. It's surprising how good it is with fixed GB, it's not that noisy and goes fairly deep.
Here it is on Monty's nailboard test with a 10x5 coil, i think the coin i used was a nickle.

I've had a number of them, my daughter still uses a GM1+ 15khz which is basic but effective.
There defo good relic detectors, which one were you interested in?

I sent a few pics to Coiltek and they think it's a manufacturing fault.
They have said there going to get me back up and running as quickly as they can which is great. I don't know when that will be as I'd guess there's not a lot of spare coils

In my case it's cut coins, like a dime size cut in 2 or 4 with an ID between 5-10.
I know it go's against the norm that big coils aren't sensitive to small targets, but the Nox+ML15 coil is actually excellent at it.

It's a habit, on some forums you get pulled for any words that are borderline, especially family forums where kids have access.

Cr4p, I was washing the coil off for a hunt tomorrow and felt an edge on the bottom of the coil, and now that it's dried off I can see a split.
The coils working perfect, so no water has gotten in. The water was quite warm though, would it have caused it?
Looks like I won't be using it tomorrow.

Out yesterday for a hunt with both the Coiltek and ML15 looking for a few deeper targets.
Only found 2 deep'ish targets, a silver sixpence (dime size) at 7" and a musket ball at full pinpointer depth
Nothing much between them on the sixpence, I think it was at a funky angle as the signal wasn't great on either coils, and the ML15 was nicer sounding on the musketball, it was smo
