I agree completely with you, Daniel. The only difference I can see in this Wuhan and a bad flu is that Wuhan is Extremely virulent/contagious.

Lots of businesses track you thru the USPS. I hadn't bought from REI for literally 20+ years after i moved to a town that didn't have a local store. When REI did build a store near me, I went in with my REI ID card and the guy said "we don't need that". He then read me all my information knowing just my name and the zip code where I now lived. He said the USPS sold that i

While I agree that Kemper is a pain and pretty much deserves what he gets, I have received similar treatment from GK when I called those selling Long Range Locators crooks. And I did this in a private PM; not even in public.
Gatekeeper will sell his mother's virginity for a nickel if he can get it.

I've said for years that the Safari was an underappreciated machine. I've never tried an etrac and I do think my CTX is better(except on silver- the Safari is a silverhound), but I still have my Safari and will until it dies.

Sometime in the last year or so the new ARA owner went on a rant on one of the other boards cussing detectorists in general and telling folks to take their tiny amounts elsewhere. I think it was on Friendly's if anyone cares to look for it. I've never used a refinery, preferring to sell mine locally, but I would never deal with someone who treats his customers like crap.

Joe, there must be some mistake. The Excal is YEARS and YEARS old- it cant find all that gold and silver like the latest hotness can!

Mine has paid for itself and dang near paid for itself in clad. And yes, that's including the "$200 lower rod".
I swear, some people are just jealous by nature, I guess. I invite anyone not satisfied with a product to not buy one or to offer the market something that is better.

Personal preference, same as you would set up any machine. Its just that more tones = more flexibility. Everyone's hearing is different. I've used other detectors, but really miss my FBS tones when I do. Theres a lot of information in there for the experienced ear if your hearing is up to it.

If thats a shot at me, I will say that i have traveled extensively in all of north American and in Europe (but not Britain)- for both pleasure and business. No 3rd world travel tho. Thankfully.

I love the Brits and Britain as a nation. But they have been serfs too long to fully understand what a little freedom is.
I know we aren't anywhere near perfect in the US (and its getting worse regardless of who is in office), but you'll not find a country that has more freedoms than we do.

That place rapidly went to the dogs when Elton died. I don't even bother to go there anymore. Was 'reprimanded' by the forum when I was critical of one of his new advertisers IN A PM for his underhanded/lying business practices.

That sux, sf.
Around here, there are a couple of dealers that make their money on the buy-end and sell for just over spot or even at spot if you buy enough. Gold and silver. One has a bricks store but sells for less at flea markets. And theres several more dealers that will sell for near spot when you mention that you know about the guys that sell for spot.

Look at it this way:
Price paid minus real value of finds on the open market + sale price = what you are out.
Yep, I bet everyone of you guys is in the black with that formula and that's not even valuing the Fun you had and the knowledge you gained.
fwiw, I sold my Safari + used black Garret PP + small coil for 500 a couple of months ago and had another guy pissed he didn't get i
