I lived in SE TX back in the 80s and fished Lake Travis more than once. Get one with a nice point, SS, personal preference as to angle ( I rec 20 degrees), and 7" or 9" opening.
Several good ones out there, but you will never go wrong with a Sunspot Stealth. Read their warranty- thatll clinch it for you. + they have absolutely the best customer service of anyone I have dealt with ever.

But theres inherently less kinetic energy in a smaller ring as it sits(or is waved around) on a person's finger. (not taking any side in this as all above arguments have merit)
Daniel/TN, for <$20 or so, you can get a ring sizing mandrel and tap your wedding ring into a larger size. I got a steel ring sizer off of the evil auction site and it works for enlarging as well.

The last time I filled up, the handle was locked back too. This is the first time this has ever happened to me in decades of buying gas. I wondered at the time if it was intentional- something along the lines of an internet 'thing'. OP has convinced me now its intentional.

fwiw, I rarely bother to follow bald links, exp when the topic doesn't interest me. I do appreciate those of you that do and then post the relevant goodies from there.

If applied with enough vigor. While still in the can.

I use turpentine and it works great. I put it on my boots/shoes/bottom of pants/belt line/etc and not on my skin if possible. I know its not really a problem, but it never hurts to minimize exposure to any solvent.
As an additional bonus, I also get extra elbow room around me when I sit down for lunch with my buds.

Sounds like you are talking random hunting. The odds shift greatly when you know how to read a beach.
Randomly, I'm gonna guess 1 14k wedding band.

My personal opinion and operating parameters are.......Science. If you can prove it or explain a logical reason train, I will consider it. Ideas are meant to be tested before they become Facts or even Beliefs. Otherwise, they are just Opinions.
I personally think some number of the legends are true. I also believe that some smart person found most all of the real ones many moons ago and was sm

Just quit going over there, ban or not.
Don't give them the clicks. If the quality posters quit somewhere, the forum will eventually degrade to just noobs and braggarts.

"After hours of searching and digging, Tripp wanted to try one more time."
That kid is gonna do well in life with that in his character.

I remember the days of the mod Jeff taking part in the fun. Good guy and always enjoyed reading his posts.
Tom, PM sent tho MRH has nailed it already. TH.
I think it would be a good time for me to thank Tom Dankowski for this forum. I don't think I've ever noticed any moderation here and that is also a good reason to thank all of you for a fun place to come.

A large portion of what is wrong over there is one of the (ahem) more senior mods that is good buds with Kellyco and KC sells LRLs. He will not tolerate the slightest hint of criticism of KC under the guise of "slandering a sponsor". He also likes to arbitrarily (and outside the forum rules) delete stuff that he doesn't agree with or that shows him up as wrong- regardless of how ta

That happens all the time when TH goes off his meds or you say something he doesn't agree with.

I will always have a concern with anyone who encourages naïve tourists to break the law in foreign countries. Recognizing that things are different in other places works both ways.

Lets wait and see if Cabelas actually puts machines in peoples hands. We often get too riled up over what might be happening.
If you ordered from Cabelas, pls post delivery info when it occurs.

Well, I'm mostly an observer of only threads that catch my interest, but I think its pretty JV on the part of both of the parties. Anyone that thin skinned really should have their own website where they can play in their own sandbox with their own rules.

Other than people who have financial interests in the various manufacturers, I don't see why anyone would want it to fail or succeed. A machine by anyone that advances the tech/hobby is ultimately good for us all.

Somewhere between 5-10k. Includes giving away older detectors and gear that I know I wont use again.
But as mentioned above, the joy to dollars ratio is very hi.

Same here.
If you hit 'cancel' about 20 times rapidly, you get to the forum youre going for but it looks funky- stripped of a lot of headers and such. NEVER give out ANY info unless you give it considerable thought. A site that normally you sail easily into that starts requesting info should be considered hacked. (yes, I know it wasn't Findmall that was responsible). They'll

Certainly we all have different levels of excitement on a given site, but I know that there are lots of untouched sites remaining. Maybe not as spectacular or not public/whatever
