Sometimes "things" are right in front of us and we miss because we are on auto-pilot.
I think back to the mid 1980's and reading a "treasure" article in the newspaper. The story: A family member collected coins. From what I remember of this article throughout all the generations of family members no one was able to find where the coins were. Then in the mid-ninete

Well, my suspicions have been confirmed. Air tests and freshly buried items are extremely limited indicators of true performance. Multi-IQ turns into 100% pure NOXygen when the coil is searching undisturbed ground. Have fun out there and I look forward to more reports

I watched the video and he really needs to have a mic on the audio. I had a hard time hearing what you wanted me to "hear." The gentleman did say that coin targets are pretty consistent when checking at a different angle. I like his method of checking to see if its iron utilizing 10khz. Very interesting video. Thanks for posting.

Very nice hunt and report. You have me intrigued.... Would you please elaborate or describe what you are hearing on deep targets? Thanks!
Gotta hear the Nox on deep undisturbed target.

the performance is going to be in the dirt and not in air tests and freshly buried items? Since this technology is built upon FBS / BBS I surmise (but I may be very wrong in my thinking) that the Equinox is going to love undisturbed ground. Your thoughts?

I don't post too much here on Dankowski. I read more than anything as I have learned an enormous amount in the short time I have been registered here. Many great minds on this forum with a tremendous amount of knowledge. Some of it way beyond my comprehension....I do my best and keep moving forward to read and understand.
Having made my opening statement, I have to ask, " Is this wh

That was an ear opening test cjc. I thought for sure when you added the second iron nail the ring wasn't going to "exist" in tone. Interesting to see that when Iron density increases, the Kruzer "sees" even better. This is a fantastic feature Thanks for posting!

Mr. Mud is a fun guy and a very talented individual indeed. He is someone I could definitely hang out and have a blast detecting with or kick back and have a couple beers. Just a great, down-to-earth guy that loves life. Too bad about F*ndmall as I miss his posts.

You guys are living the dream in the Old West. Even though I am in freezing cold Connecticut, I do appreciate you bringing me along on your trip.

Sounded like it was sending out pulses
That thing didn't beep it squealed like a pig
I use to have a SWR meter for my CB radio that looked similar...

So many variables in the field of metal detecting and have read that when it rains conductivity increases but how about COLD vs HOT ground? Would cold or hot make a difference (conductivity wise) in the ground?
Heck I know when it gets cold here in Connecticut I am basically done for the Winter. However I think back to one incident in January (several years back) it was around a 50 degree day an

for 25khz the DTVG is heck of a detector along with amazing depth. I can only hope they would make one with multi-tones and an optional numerical TID.

Could I use a slightly higher voltage 9 volt battery (9.6 volt powerex)in the Fisher CZ (I have a 6a on the way) or would this be a quick way to toast it? If you don't recommend this, what would be a good quality rechargeable battery to purchase?
