Gettin’ close Cal. It’s gonna be a real hoot to see how you handle being called and considered one of the “ Ole Timers”. Reckon you can handle it.

Nice digging. Great find. But I’m kinda thinking that coin may have been in the last one or two scoops of sidewall dirt and maybe not at the very bottom of the 10” hole. Could be wrong, just my thoughts

Some call him Ray, some call him Jay, some brave souls may even call him Johnson, but most pilgrims call him Mini Balls.

Ozzie, there’s no way in the world to all the above. I’ve got a test garden that’ll prove it. I’ve even got a target buried at 1/8” and another at 3 ft. surrounded by iron that’ll prove that I’m even better looking than you too.
Merry Christmas, happy new year, pass me another beer.

Went back again the other day. Dug a dozen assorted bullets and a few flat buttons. Ive hunted this spot for over a year now using the same machine. I thought only a new detector could turn an old site new again. Oh well, maybe the moon wasn’t in the right position.

Still think the best detector of all time would be one that assigns a low tone to aluminum just like it does iron and high tones on everything else.

Cal, this all sounds like you’re the one being intimidated. By Garrett detectors and the Hoover Boys. Ease up pal this is just a fun hobby.

Hallelujah Reverend. Awesome sermon. Most moving message was when you started crying while talking about the evils of the Hoover Boys and their sinful use of Garrett detectors. You were on fire.
