Keith said in his post on the Kruzer that he will be waiting for the production model to compare with his test model before releasing any performance reviews. Think that's the same way he handled the Impact as well.

Wish NASAtom and K Southern just had their own websites where they released info.
Then we wouldn't have to deal with grade school antics.

With all the troubles with electronics on newer cars from ECMs, airbags , ABS.....etc etc.
It's scary to think of self parking/breaking/driving cars and their sensors failing.

Thanks for the info Tom!
I spent the first few days running with the stock coin setting and conductive tones to get a feel for it.
Since then I've been running with the nail setting from the Sabich handbook and ferrous tones.
Seems to cut down on the high tone nail falsing. Really liking the explorer.
I've only used Tesoros and an idx before this machine.
The Minelab audio is some

WHich currently manufactured waterproof PI or multi VLF would you say has the best detection
in the foil range whilst working in salt water?
I've been having good success finding small gold jewelry in fresh water with a compadre I waterproofed.
Lots of things that fall in between iron and foil on the discrimination settings.

Just dug my first deep coin with a Mr Bill IDX today. Wheatie at a solid 8".
Been using a Compadre for about a year and after reading some of yours
and others posts on the modded whites decided to pick one up .
I'd be all over it if I hadn't just picked up my IDX.
Thanks for all your informative posts and videos !
They have greatly helped educate and inform many.

Mine was hard wired as well.
Once you remove the faceplate , tilt the circuit board forward.
There is a couple inches of the four wires of the coil between the board and the strain relief.
Cut them in the middle and you will have enough to solder back together once installed in the new case.

Couple photos of mine here. I've since added a on/off toggle
Plano guide series case. Mounts for the faceplate are folded PVC epoxied in place.
Pole mounts are PVC shaped with a heat gun.
May add headphones at some point but the speaker is plenty loud in the case.
If it's too windy to hear it's usually too rough to be out.
There is enough coil wire between the strain reli
