Well I got my F19 back today and in the box was a note explaining what they did, they replaced the circuit board and the membrane buttons plus added a new 5x10 coil, no charge! warranty honored.

They didn't say. Maybe there will be a note with it when it arrives.

Well I bought this Fisher F19 off of the bay and despite it being in practically unused condition it wasn't working as it should, it wouldn't see any metal unless it was only an inch away. It is a 2017 model, so I sent it down to Felix at Fisher Repairs and with no question asked they fixed it and are shipping it back with no charge to me. It is great to deal with a company that stands

I like to do live digs on my video's now, I think the " look what I found " video's where you just see the items the person has found and not seen them digging or hearing the detector work are a little boring in my opinion. It is a little harder to do live digs but it makes a better video.

FBS detectors in general are very powerful but for me they have a bit of a learning curve especially if you detect around iron. Like any other detector you have to learn it's language. Once you master what it is telling you the fun begins, you will be digging some deep holes. FBS might be easier for others to use, I can only go with what I have experienced with it.

Love the F19's, I have had several and every time I sell one I wish I hadn't, great in iron debris. I will have another sometime soon. So many detectors and so little time.

Yeah I am still shopping around, I saw a Golden Mask on the auction site and was wondering about it. I haven't really decided what to get yet.

Looking for a backup to my Equinox and I have been checking out a Golden Mask unit, it has 2 frequencies 15khz and 30khz. I was wondering if anybody has some experience with these detectors like how are they in high trash and what kind of depth I can expect from it in relatively mild soil. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

If you are a Garrett fan you might want to wait for the Apex Pro or the Apex Max. maybe this Apex is an entry level unit. Just thinking out loud, I don't know what Garrett is planning.

If it has the same build quality and high performance as the detectors they have already put out then I don't think getting customers will be a problem.

I think multi frequency detectors seem to work better in a salt environment from what I have seen, I am not a beach hunter but the Vanquish is multi-IQ like the Equinox so it would be what you are used to. JMHO

I love my Musky, a deep non ferrous target sounds so sweet with a Minelab Musketeer and I can pick through the iron pretty good with it. I also like the Fisher 1200 series detectors, they sound really nice on deep coins, that little buzz is an unmistakable sound. The 1236X-2 is my favorite Fisher beep and dig.

I have a Nox 800, an SE Pro, and a Musketeer advantage. Between the three of them I do pretty well finding silver in my old naily hunted out park, but at some point I would like to try the Tarsacci to see how it performs here. From what I have seen so far it looks like a good machine to negotiate the vast amount of bent nails that are making my life miserable at this old park. I am always game fo
