no you can use Pro-tectors Covers but keep in mind those are good for a little rain, if you want full protection , put the unit in a plastic bag or a food bag, and the unit must be detached from the rod but the pro-tector covers allow you to have it around your neck.
The only sovereign unit that is waterproof is an excalibur =)

As a native french, diggers is right "ORICKS" as for the definition on this one it could be OR ( gold) and RX (Receptor in electronics, often used in metal detector electronics rx/tx received and transmitted(emitted) signal ).
For the deus it's from latin so it sound like more "DAYOUS" for english speaker ( which mean god for those who didnt knew) .

One thing important tho the machine need to work with defaut setting too, because having a machine that pretty bad from the start is not funny to use so you need at least a good base to put the effort in it.
But i understand people dont

I checked you are right 4-5 years and there are 2 version of mp, the last one use more power to improve stability and depht but has way less autonomy.

well sanjuro, in dirt easier to balance but target are all over the places and since everything is related to ground balance discrimination wise ... it like having a pi without the depth stability and simplicity and weight... and you have to set up everything manualy, for exemple if the gb is changing you have use the discrimination knob, with ferrous in hand (nails and trash) of what you want

sometime copying is a way to learn , there is no intellectual property in china . Most of the md are made in china, q20 or q40 are not big deal ...check tanxium 850 for exemple very close to f19 for 120$... same circuit board inside. At the end the customer will be winning . Because if chinese are selling it 120$ that mean they are still making profit on it and the huge profit over something tha

I strongly agree with daniel, forum all over the place are dying ... in France it is the same.
People want the information to be pushed to them with a centralisation of information, so they stick to social media and they have the whole bundle with no effort. People are lazy nowaday and want to be spoon feed.
