Tom- On the Deus 2 lite package. The goofy puck comes as a headphone unit with that package. You can buy everything as a separate. Main P

The Deus 2 "lite" is not really any lighter weight than the full version. The lite comes with the same crappy headphones, and less hunting environments available to hunt.

This is all such a bizarre thread. Something happen I don't know? Is Tom indigent now?
Can we not trust what others have said about a detector? Is this just a continuation of the twilight zone from the last few years? BEAM ME UP SCOTTY...........

This type of hunting is best compared. Were the other machines tested on each other's signals?
If a person has a deep or unknown target this is the perfect time to bring other machines over.
The way you wrote this. I think we will never know if it was luck or the machine.

As a pure Water Hunter, it will be tough to change from the Nox. The D2's off center coil and crappy detector rod is difficult to over come. I can not understand why detector companies off weight and off center coils.

Why have we not seen any test videos with the Equinox running in Horseshoe mode? Which is the best and deepest mode to run in on the beach?

Hope not to wander. Going to break it down to the actual machine, working the machine, and conditions. All to be applied to saltwater use.
The physical machine: This machine is not Salt Water usable and users will find several components unacceptable.
Detector rod, D- The only reason it did not get an F is because it is usable on the wet and dry sand. The rod flexes too much with ANY kind

One item that non beach hunters do not understand is beach hunters consider everything above iron a "high conductors"
Good beach hunters also understand that at depth black sand and ocean salt water play a role in making targets appear something they are not.
Good beach hunters do not care about a specific number, they care if they can identify the target as ferrous or nonferrous

I found a gold coin in a bezel beach hunting. Does that count?
