I actually emailed the guy who had this coil on Fri 6/15/2012 4:54 PM (Central time) which was less than 1 hour after Tom posted it. I just called him and he said someone called 4 hours after the post and bought it He told me he had not checked his emails so the caller got it. Thanks Albert. The ETrac is too heavy and my CZ-3D beats it on depth in the ground I hunt in. I think the CTX probably is too much also even if it is balanced good for my 64 year old arms. Albert, can you give an opinion? Or anyone else who has had an ETrac and a CTX 3030. Does a CTX 3030 with the factory coil go deeper on coins than an ETrac with the 13" Detech Ultimate coil? Dan, thanks for the input. I have read many of your posts here and elsewhere. And have often read about the depths you get coins at. This CZ-3D is probably my 7th or 8th Fisher. Two things got me started. This first one is an awesome story... A friend of mine worked for Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue, Nebraska (well on the outskirts of Bellevue). One day he was looking at an old painting in Joslyn Museum in Omaha, Ne. It was painted by a man who was on a steamboat that had docked for the night right where Fontenelle Forest butted up against the river. I'm an old man but yesterday I lasted 6 hours by having a light setup (chest mount)... have to using big loops! I posted back at the end of March about detecting 100 year old golf course that had been turned into a city park I went there yesterday and had my best silver day in a LONG time! I posted this over at Find's a couple days ago... It is what it is. A hefty VLF detector with a hefty price tag. No one is forcing anyone to buy one. The prudent buyer will wait and see the field reports, test one out, or even wait and see what is on the horizon before making a decision. Fisher, for one, will be coming out with a new model soon. I use the Fisher chest harness on my CZ-3D. The park I have been hunting lately is huge and my 10 1/2" coil and Sunray FZ-12 are getting used most of the time there. The chest harness makes using the big loops a treat for this old guy.by Lipservice - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum

Do you live in Omaha, Nebraska? I live in close by Valley but I was in a 'special park' in Omaha today detecting. I got 3 silver dimes and a handfull of wheat cents (plus the usual clad) today there. Not much non ferrous junk in this one. The iron does not fool the CZ-3D too often here. Biggest challange is the good coins are deep... 6" plus.by Lipservice - Thomas Dankowski Metal Detecting Forum

I think the pricing is a joke. In 41 years of detecting every single detector I have owned has paid for itself in less than a year (except for one). I'm in Nebraska... no ocean beaches or Civil War battlefields here. With the price of gas being what it is how long do you figure it would take for this new marvel to pay for itself (unless you get real lucky)?
